Kelly Clarkson, Camila Cabello & Kehlani to Be Honored at Billboard Women in Music 2017 – Kelly Clarkson, Camila Cabello and Kehlani will receive honors at Billboard’s annual Women in Music dinner and awards ceremony in Los Angeles on Nov. 30. Clarkson will take home the ‘Powerhouse’ award, Cabello will receive the ‘Breakthrough Artist’ award and Kehlani will be given the ‘Rule Breaker’ award at the event, which is set to take place at the Ray Dolby Ballroom. All three artists will perform at the reception. We always stayed focused and realized that we had a heavy responsibility to keep the “Death Star” strong and vital. At NBC, we were a far more arrogant and haughty crew, but at FOX there was not a long history of success — there was even a bit of a fear of it among some of the long-time FOX execs. We never took “Idol” for granted. Once we realized we had something beyond a hit on our hands, our first decision was to limit “Idol” to once a year. Witney Carson Says She’s Going to ‘Brush Off’ DWTS Host Tom Bergeron’s Controversial Comment – Witney Carson and her star partner Frankie Muniz waited for the judge’s critiques after performing a waltz, but Carrie Ann Inaba pointed out a misstep. “So far for me, that was the closest thing to perfection. JUST IN: Florida man beats ‘American Idol’ hopeful with her guitar
A Florida man is accused of beating his estranged girlfriend, an “American Idol” hopeful, with an acoustic guitar and a wooden ashtray Thursday. Jonathan Vanadore, 27, of Ormond Beach, was charged with battery after allegedly attacking Rachel Russ, 29, after telling him she was moving out, the Daytona Beach News-Journal reported.
