  1. Thanks Kirsten!

  2. Carrie/Sons Of Sylvia at the Minnesota State Fair

For some silly reason I got a big chuckle out of this. I could just hear ratling around in my over full head the sound of Minnesotans with their “Fargo” accents laced with a psuedo texas country drawl singing along with Carrie and the guys.

I didn’t realize there were so many country fans so far north. But then, that is the only music you hear when you drive across those windswept highways in the middle of the night so I shouldn’t be so surprised.

  3. Hi Kirsten thanks for the numbers. I see that (200: 12 (10)) chart for Adam is back. Where you ever able to determine what chart that represents? I have tried, coming up empty handed on my end. Thanks. (Either way I guess I can at least say…..WooHoo Adam made top 10 on the 200 chart….yeah see losses impact without really knowing what it represents… Ha ha ha )

  4. From Idol Stages…

    – ADAM LAMBERT –

    09/19/2010
Seminole Hard Rock Live, Hollywood, FL
    5,566 / 5,566 (100%)
    $40 – $60
    $247,525

  5. – ADAM LAMBERT –

    09/19/2010
Seminole Hard Rock Live, Hollywood, FL
    5,566 / 5,566 (100%)
    $40 – $60
    $247,525

I hope on his next tour, he will have a lot more venues with this much seating. Especially the in the larger cities, Adam could easily fill a venue this size.

  6. I didn’t realize there were so many country fans so far north.

There are country fans in every part of the country, Tess.

Fewer concerts, bigger venues, longer concerts, and JUMBOTRONS.

  8. I see that (200: 12 (10)) chart for Adam is back. Where you ever able to determine what chart that represents?

I remain stumped. I checked out some other artists and artists from DCup to FloRida to Jason Derulo are on that chart. I thought maybe something in the dance category, but was unable to find anything that worked.

I didn’t realize there were so many country fans so far north.

You’ll even find them North of the border.

Wow! That just makes me insanely happy to see :-) WTG, Adam! And ITA – I’d love for bigger venues and fewer shows the next tour. Though I will always love the smaller, more intimate venues for Adam, so hopefully he’s able to keep a few of those scattered in from time to time.

Hard Rock has Jumbotrons- the decision was made not to use them.

I don’t know anything about concerts, but the question that came to mind was.. who runs the camera? The venue or tour staff? Would the cameraman need to know what happens in the concert to video.. like stage blocking? IDK Just a few guesses.

(You are getting a call from me tomorrow} that is business talk, i have heard that line many times

if it was a friend calling friend is (ill call you tomorrow)

  16. Kirsten:
You’ll even find them North of the border.

Canada has produced some very fine Country singers.

  17. gangreen29: There are country fans in every part of the country, Tess.

You don’t say. Even where they have other kinds of music they can listen to????? Next thing you’ll be trying to tell me is Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, and George Strait can each sell out Staples Center in LA and Carrie’ll be playing the Hollywood Bowl tomorrow ;)

Kirsten: You’ll even find them North of the border.

    Schocking!!!!

  18. On GNT Tour — Camera operators for Jumbotrons were provided by the venue. Since HRH produced this concert, they would certainly be responsible for it there.

Why they did not use the Jumbotrons for Adam HRH concert still puzzles me. They used them everywhere else that had them. And I have never attend a concert at HRH that didn’t use them. It was either a miss (I doubt this) or they had a technical issue they couldn’t over come (my guess).

I didn’t realize there were so many country fans so far north.

Country is the most listened to genre in the US — even popular in New England. Hawaii is a Country free zone — but tons of Hawaiian music on the radio there. Also not too popular in NYC. But the #3 station in Detroit is Country.

Here is Boston Radio ratings — #4 station is a Country Station

    WXKS-FM Top 40/M Clear Channel 9.0 9.0 8.9 9.1 8.7 9.6
    WBZ-AM News CBS Radio 6.7 6.2 6.1 6.4 6.6 6.6
    WJMN-FM Top 40/R Clear Channel 5.1 5.2 5.2 5.2 5.4 6.2
    WKLB-FM Country Greater Media 4.4 4.9 4.5 4.7 5.1 5.6

#140 Burlington VT-Plattsburgh, NY #1 station is Country

  19. OK Kirsten: I’m officially on a mission to solve this “200” mystery or at least find clues that will help somebody else solve this “200” mystery. Here’s other people on the same chart and their rankings:

    Katy Perry: 1, 27
    Usher: 2
    Pitbull: 2, 4
    Taio Cruz: 3
    Enrique Iglesias: 4
    Bruno Mars: 5
    Rihanna: 6,10
    Eminem: 6, 33
    Flo Rida: 7
    Nelly: 8
    Ke$ha: 11
    Adam Lambert: 12
    Cee-lo Green: 14
    Far East Movement: 15
    B.O.B.: 20, 24
    Mike Posner: 25
    Jay Sean: 29
    Nicki Minaj: 29, 41, 42
    Maroon 5: 30
    Drake: 32, 39
    Swiss Beatz: 39
    Neon Trees: 40

Based on Usher and Pitbull both being at #2, Enrique and Pitbull both being at #4, and Eminem and Rihanna both being at #6 this must be a singles chart because the songs would be DJ Got Us Fallin In Love, I Like It, and Love The Way You Lie.

Gaga and the Glee Cast aren’t on the 200 chart.

I agree it’s related to the dance chart. Is it possible it’s a chart tracking sales of remixes?

  20. Hard Rock has Jumbotrons- the decision was made not to use them.
    Made by whom and why

I’ve been to 3 events at Hard Rock Live Hollywood this year and the jumbotrons were not used for any of them. Come to think of it, last year when I went for Donna Summer, they weren’t used either. Never realized they had them. Thought Hard Rock was just a cheapo venue. They definitely need those jumbotrons because their floor section is a horrible place to see a concert from if you have taller people in front of you. I always get seats on the side which are elevated.

  21. Hawaii is a Country free zone —

Actually Danny’s I Will NOt Say Goodbye was being spun in Hawaii, somewhere in the Carribean (forgot which island) and almost daily for a while in Dublin, Ireland.

I really got a kick out of the Ireland one, have no idea how they picked up on it, sure it wasn’t sent there for adds ;)

  22. Hawaii is a Country free zone ==== I was joking a bit but there is no Country station in Market #64 Honolulu, HI. But Country music does get played on the AC stations there.

And Country songs often cross over to other formats.

  23. OK Kirsten: I’m officially on a mission to solve this “200? mystery or at least find clues that will help somebody else solve this “200? mystery. Here’s other people on the same chart and their rankings:

LOL. This mystery is so bizarre. It is the one code they don’t explain and every single chart I check ends up being wrong.

Thanks for compiling the list. It does seem very Pop heavy. I will peck away at it. Maybe by next week we’ll have it solved.

Ireland was cool. I think the Caribbean was in the Grand Cayman Islands.

And there was a station in Honolulu. From records at another site tracking IWNSG airplay…

    Country 97.5 (KHCM-FM) – Hawaii’s Country Music
Playing: Danny Gokey – I Will Not Say Goodbye
    Location: Honolulu, HI
    Genres: Country

  25. sounds like Kris may be getting that 3rd single after all \o/ \o/

#@S1ngPianoGuitar I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t recently heard plans of a third single :) that’s all I’m saying you little rascals! 1 minute ago via web in reply to S1ngPianoGuitar

  26. :D I really hope that a third single will be released soon and that it will be the right song with a good promotion.

  27. Thanks for the additional info for the mystery that is the 200 chart. I too am going to long around for the week to see if I can find out anything else since I am the one who ask the question originally. Thanks to Windmill and Kirsten giving better detailed additional info I am determined to get the answer. What to do after it is figured out :D  I think it maybe a remix related chart too. Thank you!
