Happy Sunday folks. Time for another episode of Big Brother and I will be back later with my recap of everything that went down including Aaryn’s nominations for eviction.
As always you can comment on the show and the episode below.
_____
We start off with Jessie leaving the house after throwing Helen under the bus. Amanda comments on how everyone she wants gone goes home and that she hopes that trend continues. Helen is hoping that people trust her more then they trust what Jessie was saying to everyone. This point is moot since Andy has already sold her out to McCranda.
After Aaryn pulls off the HoH victory she laments on how being in power so much sucks since she is getting all the blood on her hands. GM feels comfortable with Aaryn in power since they are sisters and she feels safe. What she doesn’t know is that no one is threatened by her so she is safe for least three more evictions.
Back in the house McCrae says that he will never throw a challenge again since he has a hard time trusting Aaryn. This someone leads to Amanda freaking out about being a loser who can’t win anything. She goes into the food closet to hide behind a garbage can to cry it out. Personally that is exactly where I go to cry as well. Although I can’t really hide behind a garbage can.
Helen and Elissa are talking and Helen is trying to convince Elissa that she has the numbers to stay. Elissa is scared since she is always a target when Aaryn is in power. Helen takes this time to go spout some bullshit about how Aaryn shouldn’t feel bad for winning and how she is a better player than Janelle. I say there is no way this is true since Janelle played against better players.
In the Have Not room Amanda has talked herself into thinking it is better that they didn’t win since the don’t take the direct impact of making a big move but since someone in there alliance is in power they can target Helen and Elissa.
McCranda meet with Aaryn to discuss targeting Helen and sending her home. The plan is to convince Helen that Elissa is the target and they want to ensure that Helen can’t vote against Elissa to help her.
And now we get Alliance nicknames. Amanda is the Mastermind, Andy is the Agent, Aaryn is the Beast, and McCrae is the Enforcer. All they are missing is Phillip Sheppard in the house.
It’s the weekly reveal of the HoH room and Aaryn has been HoH so many times that they have to use pictures of her with animals like sheep and goats. It is also highlighted with Amanda showing envy with Aaryn’s room. I’m sure in real time it was awkward in the room between Amanda being jealous and Elissa and her death stares at Aaryn winning.
In the hallway Elissa is saying that there is no point in talking to Aaryn to save herself. Helen tries to talk her off the ledge and share the impact of missing their families. Elissa drops the bomb that if she is evicted she will be going home and not to the jury house (is this even possible?). This caused Helen to have a breakdown since she wouldn’t have Elissa’s vote in the end if only one of them is in the jury house.
This leads to a cry fest in the HoH room since she wouldn’t have a vote in the end. This leads to McCrae laughing about Helen actually thinking she’d make the final two. Spencer tries to pass it off as Elissa just having a bad day which gets GM heated and spouting off about how Elissa has been a horrible person since week one. We are then treated to Amanda DRing that Helen is a silly girl since Elissa is not the target since Helen is the target.
It’s time for the Have Not competition. Aaryn will also compete but cannot be a Have Not for the week. Teams will go one at a time. Teams will need to go into a black box, find a key and unlock a buzzer. Team who does it the fastest are Haves for the week.
The Green Team is made up of Amanda, GM, Elissa, and Helen. There a buttons that get pressed and things are blown into faces. Amanda gets a blast right in the face. Eventually they find vats of things like Cherry Pie and Spaghetti in the middle of the room and start feeling inside. The twist is that the key is in between two of the vats. GM actually touches the key once but misses it before deciding to feel between the vats again when she finds it and finished the challenge.
Next is the orange team made up of Aaryn, Spencer, Andy, and McCrae. There appears to be slime on the ground which I didn’t remember being there for the Green Team. Spencer crawls to the vats in the middle and reaches up to quickly find the key. There hard part is that they can’t find the door out of the black box. McCrae finds the door and they all get out into the sun.
Green team did it in 7:21 but gets beat by Orange with a crazy good time of 3:41. That is what they call a massacre. The Have Nots are Helen, Elissa, Amanda, and GM. GM is pissed but Helen is worried about this bringing down Elissa and killing her game since she needs Elissa in the long run.
Up in the HoH room Elissa tries to make her pitch for safety to Aaryn. She doesn’t want to speak with Aaryn but needs to do it to try to stay off the block. There is a little conversation about family and something about a yoga mat but Aaryn takes it all with a blank stare. She eventually tells Elissa that even if she goes up on the block she is not the target.
Helen is next up and asks Andy to let them talk alone. Helen says that she knows Elissa will go up on the block while Aaryn says that she is ok with either Spencer or Elissa going home. Helen says that if she wins the Veto she would not use it to save Elissa if that is what Aaryn wanted. In the DR Aaryn admits she likes Helen but this looks like the best time to target Helen to help 3AM’s game.
It’s time for the eviction ceremony. She is not afraid to make a big move this week and will do what is best for her game. She starts by saving GM, followed by Spencer, Amanda, McCrae, and Andy. Helen and Elissa are the nominations. Elissa is hating being up on the block against Helen since she hoped to go to the end with her. Helen is ok with Aaryn’s decision since she trusts Aaryn. Foolish woman actually thinks she is safe but that won’t stop her from trying to win the veto.
That’s all for tonight. I will be back Wednesday night for the PoV competition and ceremony. On Thursday someone will be Live Blogging the Eviction Ceremony. Cory threw in the towel on the season so I am not sure who will be Live Blogging but someone will be around to recap all the action. I will be posting the Power Rankings on Saturday and then we will repeat it all next week. See you all Wednesday!
