America’s Got Talent, World of Dance Make Impressive Ratings Debuts

A solid debut for America’s Got Talent and World of Dance. AGT’s garnered a n impressive 2.6 rating in the 18-49 demo. World of Dance at 10 pm retained most of the show’s audience with a 2.4 rating. Consider that last week’s The Voice finale only garnered a 1.9 in the demo.

“AGT” premiered to a 2.6 rating in adults 18-49, even with last season’s debut, and 12.07 million viewers, up from 11.67 million last year. “World of Dance” held onto most of its lead-in, scoring a 2.4 and 9.75 million viewers — well up from the 1.6 and 6.26 million viewers for “Maya & Marty” in the same spot last year.
