Judge Howard Stern auditions AGT hopefuls on his home turf in New York City. Part 2 continues tomorrow. Not that I’ll be watching! Idol and Glee tomorrow. I’ll begin blogging AGT full time next week!
The Flyte Cru – It’s a combination of gymnastic skills, dangerous stunts and Basketball dunks. Howard thinks they are tremendous athletes. Howie says no because he doesn’t think it’s that original. Howard and Sharon say yes. I’m with Howie–nothing really special about guys dunking basketballs off of trampolines.

Mir Money – 7 – Precocious rapper – Howard buzzes him right away. It takes Sharon a bit, but she buzzes him too. Howard begins to explain that despite buzzing him, Mir is very nice and brave…and then the kid starts crying. Howard was not expecting that. He takes the stage to comfort him. “I’m sorry honey, you are a terrific young man, you are very brave.” Well yeah, the kid wasn’t good. Howard should have reamed out his father for putting his kid in that position. Howard says yes (because he feels bad). Sharon and Howie say no. So..I guess this particular bit was to illustrate that Howard is really a nice guy at heart.

Olate Dogs – Father son dog training team. The doggies are adorable. Sharon is going crazy. The judges give them a standing ovation. Howie thinks it’s amazing. Sharon loves it. Most of the dogs are rescue dogs! Howard wants to bring them to his house to train his dog. Howard insists that he’s the only judge America listens to. 3 yeses.

Horse – Uhm. The act? The guy gets hit in the nuts in various ways–kicked, punched, sledgehammered and hit with bricks. The trick is that, for whatever reason, his groin is not sensitive. The act is a glorified frat party trick. Nevertheless Howard stands for it. To prove there are no tricks. Nick kicks him in the nuts 3 times. Really hard. He gets 3 yeses. This is a Vegas act?
Horse, 25, Auditions New York ~ America’s Got… by HumanSlinky
Wordspit – Hip Hop band. There are so many of them on stage, it’s a big giant mess. Howard says they blew the roof off the place. Sharon says it made her day. Howie calls it Jay Z mixed with Pink Floyd. Glorious. I don’t know. There were a ton of instruments on stage, including guitars and strings, but it was too much. Sharon is actually crying.

Burton Crane – 77 year old rapper – Dude is SUPER ANNOYING! Rapping to a chintzy casio. He reminds me of the “pants on the ground’ guy. Howard was going to hit his buzzer, but then found his “What you gonna do” rap catchy. He has over 100 songs that he’s written himself. Howie says he’s found a hook. He gets 3 yeses
