It’s the America’s Got Talent 2022 Qualifiers 4 LIVE results show. Eleven singers performed Tuesday night, but only TWO will advance to the finale, based solely on America’s vote. At this point, judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara have no say in the outcome. Terry Crews hosts.

Instead of a recap, the show opens with a performance from the Irish step dance group, Riverdance. Are they still a thing? They are celebrating their 25th anniversary with a big tour.
NOW it’s time for a recap. After, the 11 acts take the stage to learn their fates. Howie thinks he knows which two acts will go though. The judges discussed last night’s “strange” show. Sofia felt some of the acts were “off.”
Merissa Beddows and Bayley Graham step forward. One is still in the competition, the other is heading home. The first act still in it is…Merissa Beddows! I had no idea which way that would go. Usually, it’s an easy guess.
Next, Acapop! and Metaphysic step forward. Of course, Metaphysic is safe, and Acapop! is eliminated.
Now, Harper, Jack Williams and The Lazy Generation step forward. The next act still in it is…Jack Williams! Harper and Lazy Generation are eliminated.
Lily Meola and Jannick Holste step forward. America has voted. The next act still in it is…Lily Meola!
And lastly, Lee Collinson and Mike E Winfield step forward. America has voted…and Mike E. Winfield is still in it. Lee Collinson is eliminated.
Simon mentioned about deciding how to advance the Top 2 and mentioned they considered allowing the judges to do it. Actually, NBC sent a press release out saying the judges would choose one of the Top 2. But then…nope. Simon believes he made the correct decision leaving it in America’s hands.
Next is a time wasting clip featuring fan questions for the judges and Terry.
And then, AGT fan favorite Piff the Magic Dragon takes the stage! AND MR. PIFFLES I LOVE MR. PIFFLES. Piff is funny! And that bit with the dog making an “Arnold Palmer” for Howie was HILARIOUS.
Now, the Top 5 take center stage. Terry reveals the Top 3. In no particular order, the first act in the Top 3 is Mike E. Winfield. The next act in the Top 3 is…Lily Meola. And the third act is…Metaphysic!
Finally, Terry reveals the TWO acts going into the finals! America has voted. The first act going into the finals is…Metaphysic! Simon is very excited. And the second act going into the finals is…Mike E Winfield! Lily Meola is eliminated. You and I predicted that result correctly from a night of weak performances.
Metaphysic and Mike E. Winfield join Avery Dixon (Saxophonist, Terry Buzzer), Chapel Hart (Country Trio, Group Buzzer), Drake Milligan (Country singer-songwriter), Nicolas RIBS (Magician), Yu Hojin (Magician) and Sara James (Singer, Simon Buzzer) in the September 13 and 14 finale. Next week is the FINAL week of Qualifiers. Two more acts will advance to the finale. PLUS the judges will choose 4 acts for America to vote through as an 11th spot Wildcard via the Instant Save.
