America’s Got Talent 2021 Semifinals begin this week! Eleven acts, including a yet-to-be disclosed Wildcard perform this week, while the final 11 acts take the stage next week.

We’re only three weeks out from finding out the winner of America’s Got Talent 2021! And that’s a good thing, because I’m not really invested in this season at all. The live shows so far this year have been very underwhelming. There was only one performance out of three weeks that I genuinely think couldn’t have been any better (and it came from Brooke Simpson, for the record). Everyone else had at least one thing I could complain about.

At this point, every act has performed twice, and we have a bit more of an idea of who the judges are pushing and who they are bussing. So I’d have to assume that this power list will be a little more accurate than the last ones were.

Please keep in mind that this list is missing one act – the wildcard. And also keep in mind that this isn’t necessarily what I want to happen, it’s just what I think will happen. Here we go!

10 – Korean Soul: They needed the judges save to advance last time. That pretty much means that they’re doomed this time.

9 – Madilyn Bailey: She’s ahead of Korean Soul because she has such a huge following on YouTube. But Howie started bussing her last time, and she needed the judges save to advance. I think she’s doomed as well.

8 – Tory Vagasy: Tory needed the save to make it through, and Howie’s been bussing her since her first audition. I think she’s a goner.

7 – Michael Winslow: The biggest plant in AGT history needed the save to make it through last week. Granted, he presumably won the save with 40%+ of the vote based on the initial results snapshot, but I still don’t think he’s going to make the final. I didn’t hate Michael’s act but I was a bit bored by it if I’m honest. It was missing jokes to tie it together.

6 – Gina Brillon: Gina got a bussing from Simon and made it through anyway. I don’t think it’ll happen again for her though. I honestly haven’t laughed once at her act all season. As an aside, it’s amazing to me that she’s not even the biggest plant of this episode.

5 – Dustin Tavella: I wasn’t impressed with Dustin’s trick last time, but I think he has a good shot as the only magician of the episode. He also got more praise from the judges than the other acts that we’ve discussed already. I wouldn’t be shocked if he’s cut, but I think he’s safe.

4 – Aidan Bryant: This type of act does nothing for me personally, but he got a ton of praise for the judges, and easily made it through on the public vote. I think he’s pretty much a lock.

3 – Peter Rosalita: He’s getting. So. Many. Views. And I know that some might be from other countries, but a lot aren’t. He’s far from the best kid singer we’ve had on this show, but I honestly don’t think it will matter. I think the bussing will start this week for Peter, but I think he’s sailing through to the next round.

2 – Jimmie Herrod: The only true highlight of week one for me, Jimmie has an incredible voice. He picks songs I hate but delivers them really well. The judges praised him to high heaven, and he’s got a golden buzzer behind him. He’s sailing through to the final.

1 – World Taekwondo Demo. Team: They had two minor missteps in last week’s performance, but it didn’t really matter. Their tricks are such high difficulty that I can forgive a mistake or two. They’re the winning act this year I think. Super exciting, super impressive, they’re not like anything we’ve had on the show before, Simon basically already said they’ll win.

America’s Got Talent 2021 Semifinals 1 performances airs on NBC Tuesday August 31.
