The America’s Got Talent 2020 Live Shows continued Tuesday night (Aug 25). A guest judge did NOT take an ailing Simon Cowell’s place this week. It was only Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara on the panel. They seemed a little lost without Simon. He’s the team captain.
Simon must be beside himself, unable to influence the weekly results. For instance, his Golden Buzzer act, W.A.F.F.L.E. crew didn’t receive nearly the pimping that Simon would have delivered. One upshot of a three person judges panel–no possibility for a deadlock during the judges save.
As far as the acts this week–overall, the slate was better than last week.
