By the end of the night, FIVE contestants will be eliminated. SEVEN will advance to the Semifinal round. The sixth, seventh and 8th place acts will vie for the fan voted “Dunkin Save.” In addition, the judges panel will also save a contestant.
Britain’s Got Talent sensation and AGT:Champions finalist Susan Boyle is set to perform. It’s been 10 years since her BGT audition.
ALSO Howie is celebrating HIS 10 year anniversary as a judge on the show. Simon celebrates it with a huge billboard outside the Dolby…that barely shows Howie’s face. HA HA HA.
We cut to the stage full of contestants after a looong preview of last night’s show. Terry announces the acts on the bubble: Charlotte Summers, Chris Klafford and Ndlovu Youth Choir. WHAT THE HECK? The Youth Choir???? They had the pimp spot. And streamers! It looks like Chris has got this. To vote, go to NBC.com/DunkinSave or vote on the app.
RESULTS! Tyler Butler-Figueroa and Joseph Allen are up first. It’s Simon’s Golden Buzzer up against Howie’s…Tyler Butler-Figueroa advances to the semis. Joseph Allen is eliminated. Simon thanks Joseph whose name he didn’t seem to remember.
More Results: V. Unbeatable and the Sentimentalists are on stage. The next act going into the semifinals is…V. Unbeatable. The Sentimentalists are eliminated. Well. DUH.
Light Balance Kids, Robert Finley and Nick & Lindsay take the stage. The next act going into the semifinals is…Light Balance Kids. Oh, apparently the kids had “technical difficulties” last night. Also safe is…Robert Finley. Ha. Nick & Lindsay knew they were toast.
Next, Susan Boyle takes the stage to sing the song that started it all, her BGT audition song, “I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Miserables. Susan Boyle is 90% backstory, 10% talent. SORRY NOT SORRY. Her new album “10” celebrates 10 years after BGT.
Next, a video featuring Howie and his puns.
Marina Mazepa and Ryan Niemiller are on stage. OH WHO COULD POSSIBLY BE SAFE. Why is Ryan even nervous? Of course he’s through. Marina is eliminated. Simon tells Ryan that his fate is “all in his hands.” Erm. I bet he did that on purpose to be honest.
Time for the Dunkin Save! Chris Klafford wins the viewer vote. And now, the judges save an act! Either Charlotte Summers or Ndlovu Youth Choir…after the break.
The judges vote:
Gabrielle Union – Ndlovu Youth Choir
Julianne Hough – Charlotte Summers
Simon Cowell – Ndlovu Youth Choir
Howie Mandel – Charlotte Summers
DEADLOCK! With the vote tied, the act with the most votes will go through to the next round. And that is…Ndlovu Youth Choir! YAY.

You’re elimination predictions were spot on. Certainly more accurate than mine (see original poll post). The biggest surprise of the night for me was Ndlovu Youth Group needing to sing for their lives. The judges went to deadlock on the decision, I suspect, because they did not want to be responsible for young Charlotte’s inevitable tears.
