America’s Got Talent ended its highest-rated season in three years by garnering its second-best 18-49 ratings of the season. Wednesday’s finale averaged a 2.7 in the demo, 1/10th of a point behind Tuesday’s season high. Stay tuned for this afternoon’s final rating update.

Congrats to AGT for a successful season. Simon Cowell sitting on the judges panel and becoming more involved in day to day production turned out to be a very good thing for the show.
