Hello, I am AIaddict and this is my 5th American Idols Live show to attend. My daughter and I went to see them this year. I wore my green shirt for you know who, Lee! My daughter made a Tim shirt to wear. I did not tell her we were sitting so close until we got to the venue then she looked at the tickets and said Mom, we are four rows from the stage!!! She was even more excited to see the show. After last night I’m sure my daughter thinks her Mom is definitely an American Idol crazy since I did much more screaming than she did, LOL!
THE SHOW
I won’t have anything negative to say about anyone. I’m not a big critic and these kids have worked really hard to be where they are now and I wish them all nothing but the best.
Didi was very pretty and at ease on stage. I could see her playing in smaller venues.
Andrew really sounded better than i thought he would. He got people sitting on the floor off their feet and having a good time.
Katie live was a really treat. She moved around like she’s been doing this a long time. Her voice really is stronger than what we got to see on tv.
Tim was good and had great interaction with the crowd. He and Katie really good do some acting. Lots of screams for Tim.
Siobhan, wow! girl is a punk rocker for sure. Even though I did not know the song she was singing it didn’t matter. She was so into the songs that she was really fun to watch and listen to live. That girl has a set of lungs and can hold a scream for a long time, unbelievable.
Aaron, he should get signed ASAP! He was so good and looked like a pro on stage. He’s got that country swagger down pat! LOL!
Mike, Tampa was luvin on the home town boy! His wife and baby were there along with other family members. I did not like him on the show but he has a good voice so hopefully something good will happen for him too.
Casey, just let me say I did not get Casey on the show but after seeing him, I totally get it. He was tearing it up and was just so freaking mesmerizing to watch live. He did not hold back.
Crystal was so pretty and her voice is just wonderful. We were watching her sing and this man holding this little kid came and stood right near us. Then I realized it was little Tony! A stage hand brought Crystal a bottle of water with candles on top. I did not know why but someone said it was her birthday so happy Birthday to Crystal!
Lee!!! came out full of energy and sounding great. Almost everyone on their feet now and Tampa was lovin Lee. He was really amazing last night. I have watched videos of the beginning of the tour and in the past month I think Lee has grown even more comfortable on stage. He walks around now instead of running around, LOL! which is great for those of us trying to take pictures. His set although five songs seemed way too short, for me anyway, ha!
MEETING THE IDOLS
Right after Lee was done we headed out to the barricades and waited on the idols to come out to sign. We met a couple of people there from Colorado who had come down for a wedding and decided to come to the show while they were there. We also met a lady who helped Lee when he came to Orlando for the Disney Idol Experience. She was his tour guide or assistant or something I don’t remember which. All the idols came out except for Crystal.
Lee was such a sweetie! I got squished by Lee, because there was like three ladies behind us from Mt. Prospect. When he recognized them he got up on the rail and leaned over to hug them and squished me in the process. He did not mean to and I did not mind. LOL! Got a hug from Lee, a picture with Lee and two autographs on his two cds by Lee! It was heavenLee!
Hugged Casey James too! He’s so tall and really a sweet guy. He smelled good. Not that I was trying to smell him but…
Katie was really pretty, love her hair.
Siobhan surprised me. I was looking the other way to see who was coming towards us turned around and there was Siobhan smiling at me. She’s so tiny she almost seems fragile. She was really quiet too. I know people keep saying this but she barely made a sound.
My daughter made a Tim shirt. She got a hug from Tim, he signed our program and was about to leave us when I said, Tim will you sign her shirt, pointing at my daughter. He said, let me see. He looked at the shirt and said he loved it and signed her shirt too!
Aaron is really a cutie we got his autograph and my daughter got a hug. He did not have time for pics since by then he was given 5 minutes to get done and he had only been half way around to everyone.
Didi is really pretty and she was in a hurry too.
Andrew was so quiet. I told him he did great tonight and he quietly and shyly said awww, thank you.
I high fived Big Mike. He got a great reception when he came out it being his home town and all. He said it was good to be back in FL.
The night was amazing and surreal. It was fun seeing them perform for us and really great meeting them all especially Lee. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for the season niners. I will definitely go see Lee and Casey when they tour on their own. Looking forward to it! Sign Casey James, now! LOL!
