CJ Harris auditioned on the Tuscaloosa, Alabama stop of the American Idol bus tour and was one of the two singers that borrowed fellow Top 31 contestant, Dexter Roberts’,Gibson guitar. You can read all about that HERE.
CJ is an African American with a love for country music. Covers, uploaded to his YouTube channel, include songs by Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, Hunter Hays, Darius Rucker and Keith Urban. He’s also posted some worship music, blues and R&B covers by Chris Brown and Bruno Mars. But make no mistake, as his original songs reveal, CJ is a country boy.
