Next week, American Idol XIII goes LIVE for the first time! The Top 15 girls perform on Tuesday and the Top 15 boys on Wednesday.
But watch out for some CRAZY TWISTS! We won’t learn the final list of Top 15 boys until the results of YOUR vote between Ben Briley and Neco Starr is revealed on TUESDAY, ! Plus: You think 15 performances are too many to get through in two hours? NO WORRIES. The judges will be making cuts ON THE SPOT, eliminating 5 BOYS AND 5 GIRLS before they have the opportunity to sing!
Also, welcome back RANDY JACKSON. The new in-house mentor held a “boot camp” for the Top 31 recently, with Idol vets, Adam Lambert and Chris Daughtry on hand to help the kids learn how to navigate the ins and outs of the competition! We’ll be seeing clips from those sessions along with the LIVE performances.
ON THURSDAY The Top 13 will be revealed! The Top Ten finalists–5 girls and 5 guys–will be chosen by America. The judges will choose three to round out the Top 13.
