Here is one of my favorite voices of the premiere. Kory Wheeler is the singer Idol producers found working at a nearby coffee shop. He displays incredible tone on his rendition of Bonnie Raitt’s “I Can’t Make You Love Me,” I think. You’ll see Kory perform during the 1-hour Wednesday night premiere!

I’ll just say he brings a lot of “energy” to the proceedings–until the judges ask him to take it down a notch. Will Andrew be able to strip down his performance enough to make it real? You’ll see on Thursday.
