According to The Idolpad Blogspot, the theme for next week’s Top 24 round is “Producers Choice.” Each of the contestants created a song list from which the producers picked a song.
So, the contestants had some control over the song, but ultimately, the producers chose.
I’m not sure what the point of that is. At this stage in the Idol game, I suppose there is no way a contestant is going to be able to choose their own song.
I wonder if there were a set number of songs the contestants had to put on the list? They better make every single choice a keeper–particularly those contestants who are fodder.
