Rachel Zevita- Rumors have swirled around Rachel quitting for months but according to good sources she is in fact still in the top 40. Rachel first auditioned in season 6, and with her wacky getup seemed to come across as more of a joke audition to the judges. I remember being impressed all the way back then, and completely puzzled at the judges indifference to her gritty take on Jeff Buckley. Rachel made some odd vocal choices for her audition this year, but her Hollywood performance was much stronger.
