AGT Ratings Up From Last week, Down from Last Season

The America’s Got Talent final performance ratings are up 10 percent from last week. The comparable episode for last season scored a 2.5 in the preliminaries and 11.46 million viewers. The Tuesday edition of Big Brother last season earned a 2.3 and 6.91 viewers and was up against a Tuesday edition of Dancing with the Stars (not a clip show!) which earned 2.2 rating and 12.68 viewers. Big Brother and AGT both fell vs last season.

Last Wednesday, Big Brother earned a 2.1 adults 18-49 rating and 6.51 viewers.

Last night’s Dancing with the Stars was a clip show, featuring dance performances from the night before. A big drop in ratings would be expected.

On NBC, America’s Got Talent earned a 2.3 adults 18-49 rating, up 10 percent from last week. On ABC, Dancing with the Stars: First Dances earned a 1.1 adults 18-49 rating, down 48 percent from its season premiere.
