The Top 12 guys taped their episode last night, and I’m hearing very little information about the show. However, I do know that Bucky Covington sang “Simple Man, ” originally by Lynyrd Skynyrd. I’ll post more information as I find it…
ETA: I have a sliver information regarding the judges comments on Bucky’s performance: One of the judges (not sure which at this time) said that his overall his performance was good but that he needed to clean it up a bit–maybe a little too grunge for the song he sang.
I’m hearing via the boards that the audience last night got a big ole lecture from the producers about leaking information from the performances. Last night’s taping was filled with mostly VIPs–studio executives and family members.
