Carrie Underwood, Sam Hunt talk Grammys – Requests for “no photos, no social media” ring through the Staples Center between passes on Sam Hunt and Carrie Underwood’s rehearsal for their performance on Monday’s 58th Grammy Awards. The pair merged Hunt’s “Take Your Time” and Underwood’s “Heartbeat” for the duet — a first for the singers. While Hunt’s lyrics are new for Underwood, Hunt guested on the recording of Underwood’s “Heartbeat,” her current single from her new “Storyteller” album. “I’m just super honored to be with Sam representing country music at the Grammys,” Underwood says after the rehearsal. Adele was on stage next and asked that everyone be removed from the arena.
