American Idol auditions are taking place in Los Angeles today – The cattle call is taking place at Dodgers Stadium. Good luck to all the hopefuls!

Today’s CMA Music fest events includes an acoustic show featuring Lauren Alaina and Kellie Pickler tonight on the LP Field. They’ll open for Miranda Lambert, Glen Campbell, Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, the Zac Brown Band and Brad Paisley. (Via The Lainey Report)

Congratulations to Scotty McCreery who graduates from Garner High School today! He starts at North Caroline State University in the fall. It’s been a good two days for Scotty. He won Breakthrough Video at last night’s CMT Awards (Via News Observer.com)
