Simon Cowell was on the Howard Stern show Thursday morning promoting “American Inventor”, and made a prediction for the finals. According to this NY post article, Simon said that Chris Daughtry, Taylor Hicks and Kellie Pickler will be the Final Three.
I can imagine that Chris, Taylor and Kellie are winning the vote at the moment. So, a little nudge from the “honest” judge keeps the momentum going. Simon’s opinion is so highly regarded, that a prediction turns into a suggestion in some viewers’ minds. And when Simon turns out to be right, he looks like a genius.
