X Factor 2 – Top 6 Power List, Predictions and Poll Results!

Here is my prediction for the X Factor Top 6. It’s tentative, because I’m only really sure of the Top 2–Carly Rose Sonenclar and Tate Stevens. Any of the remaining contestants could wind up singing for their lives tonight.

You might think CeCe Frey will finally hit the road, but I’m not so sure. The flamboyant singer is the only remaining finalist on Demi Lovato’s team. If CeCe doesn’t have a strong fan base, Demi sure does. She spent all of last night begging her 10m+ twitter fans to vote and returning their tweets (Ugh, I finally had to turn that shiz off). One returned tweet said essentially, “I don’t know who I voted for, but I went and did it anyway.” So yeah, the Lovatics may save CeCe’s butt this week.

As hard as Simon has been pushing Emblem3, their performances were really uneven this week. They could even be a surprise instant elimination. I wouldn’t be completely shocked if they had to sing for their lives. Fifth Harmony and Diamond White stepped it up this week. The former has fans, the latter not so much. It may be a little too late for Diamond.

Check out the poll results! One of Tate Stevens’ performances is dead last. CeCe and Fifth Harmony are ranking pretty high.

There are lots of variables to be considered this week. I think the night could produce some surprises.

    I like Diamond, but she’s really been pitchy in a lot of her recent performances, but with practice I see a future for her & CeCe has been the least consistent. I think they are the two to go tonight, but who knows.  XFactor likes the “shockers”

    I agree with this… this is the route Carly should take after the show. Although she did mention she wants to be an actress and with Broadway and TV experience already pretty sure she’s got the foundations for that. Carly would be perfect for Glee, if only the show wasn’t going downhill.

    I actually hope that Emblem3 don’t go home but land in the bottom 3. That will give Simon a rude awakening and maybe let them do their originals.

    The difference between Diamond and Carly is that Diamond is a skilled, highly-trained singer with a successful stage career, and Carly is an extremely skilled, highly-trained singer with an extremely successful stage career.

    Geeze the loathing of E3 here is unreal to me.  Have you youtubed their original music?  It is pretty darn good.  They are more like Blink 182 than 1D.

    Simon has tried to sugar coat them for TV and I wish he had of let them be who they are.  But they are not IMO terrible. 

    I care not if they are voted off though my teen dd will be devasted. 

    They will be signed. 

    These shows fail because of people voting for the terrible ones for fun.

    Cece really?  She is beautiful and should model.  But sing? IDK.  Ke$ha can’t sing, Brit hasn’t been able to sign for years, Katie Perry is not a great vocalist .  So who knows.  She has the look.

    But Carly & Tate are the best vocalists and it should be between them for the win.

    I’m sticking with the one I’ve stuck with since the beginning…Tate! I think he’s the only one who can jump right in and be successful. Country is much more forgiving about age, looks etc than pop music.

    That’s why I think Tate might be the most marketable especially if he wins.  Country music also has been much more open to reality show contestants than pop has especially in recent years.   Many country music stars also started their careers older than pop stars would too.
