The Voice 8 Top 5 Head Out to Hometown Visits

The Voice - Season 8

Last night, on The Voice 8, the Top 5 contestants, set to perform in next week’s semi-final were revealed. One of the perks of making it this far is the opportunity for the contestants to head back to their hometowns for big celebrations, filmed by The Voice cameras. Each singer will perform a free concert at a local venue for fans.  The footage will be aired on next week’s The Voice.

Wednesday May 6

Sawyer Fredericks – Fultonville, NY

  • 8:00 p.m. – Palace Theater, Albany, NY at 8 pm.
  • 2:15 p.m – a parade will begin at the Glen Canal View Business Park on Route 5S, head down Riverside Drive in Fultonville and enter the Fonda Speedway for a rally in his honor around 3 p.m. Montgomery County officials said the times are approximate. Local officials say they’ll give token gifts to the singer and hope he’ll perform for the many fans who are expected at the track. (via TimesUnion)

Meghan Linsey – Nashville TN

  • 6:00 p.m. doors – Free Concert at the Wildhorse Saloon (via The Tennessean)

Koryn Hawthorne – Abbeville LA

  • 5 p.m. Koryn will ride in a homecoming parade to Magdalen Square, where she will participate in a special homecoming concert. Magdalen Square is located at 2 S. Magdalen Square in Abbeville. Fans are encouraged to bring homemade signs of support for Hawthorne. The event is open to all ages, but minors should be accompanied by a parent or guardian. (Via The Advertiser)

Thursday May 7

Joshua Davis – Traverse City MI

  • 6:45 pm doors – The State Theatre – Josh will arrive at the theater at 5:30 pm, and we hope you’ll be on hand to greet him with signs and cheers. Doors will open at 6:45 pm.” Attendees will need to sign a release; fans under 18 will need the signature of their parent or legal guardian. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. (via MLive)
