The Voice 3 Playoffs Part 1 – iTunes Rankings, Poll Results

iTunes downloads of contestant performances count as votes. How are Team Blake Shelton and Team Adam Levine doing the rankings? Plus blog poll results just for fun!

Clearly, Amanda Brown is the favorite with Cassadee Pope behind her. No love on the blog for Melanie Martinez, however!

Do itunes still count towards votes for each contestant? Just curious.

Ummm,,,was this question not answered in the first sentence?

Well, I probably won’t score many “Likes” with this post but I gave up on The Voice. It’s off my DVDR.  I really try each year to get invested but all I come away with each time in my memory is “the judges”.  It’s not about the singers, because I cannot remember any of them, like I can on the X-Factor or Idol.  Focus is on CeLo, Christina, Adam and Blake. There’s no balance.  I was looking at the list above and I cannot remember a single singer and what they sang. They get 90 seconds to sing and then they disappear for a week or 2 while the other teams sing. Out of side, out of mind, for me, I guess.   And the winners from the past 2 years — can you remember any hits or near-hits they put out?  The show is popular IMHO because of the chemistry between the judges, which may change next year.

I gave you a “like” just for the hell of it.  I felt as you did last year; I just don’t get so invested now.  Yeah, they disappear….

I totally agree. I barely watch the show now. I come here to see the videos and only watch a few. I can’t remember the contestants I liked from previous weeks—it’s all about the judges. They’re the only ones getting a boost for their careers. All the singing shows need to give the contestants more time to sing and cut back on the fluff.

X-Factor is so memorable in that it almost gave me the Pokemon seizure for the sheer obnoxiousness of the staging and lights.  i think i vaguely remember Bulbasaur, Pikachu and Charmander trying to burn up the stage with their awesome talent.  yeah i definitely remember these contestants.

Too bad…Melanie is the one non-karaoke singer from this group.

  • Kesia Monteith

    oh whoops. lol *turns red*

  • Ed Devereaux

Melanie is my fav!  The only 1 I think is unique and different.

Ed, I am with you!  I love Melanie and so glad the itunes purchases have her 3rd as most here do not seem to enjoy her much.
