Spoiler Update: Adam Lambert, Felicia Barton, Lil Rounds and Kendall Beard Are Rumored to Be Top 36

Joesplace, the trusted American Idol spoiler has just posted her first update of American Idol Season 8 contestants rumored to have made the final cut to the Top 36.

The Top 36 will compete live in the Semi-Final Rounds starting Tuesday, February 17.

They are:

Adam Lambert was the bright light in a sea of suck when he auditioned in San Francisco. (check out his audition). He’s got extensive theater experience, and a fanbase already. Check out a few of his You Tubes: à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“Crazyà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ , Dust in the Wind.   And even   more videos.

Felicia Barton was shown for a few brief seconds singing during the Louisville auditions (watch her audition).   She’s been a fan favorite ever since her name and music was leaked to the internets.   Such a pity, her music has finally been taken down off her MySpace. One You Tube is still up of Felicia performing at a Virginia Beach street fair HERE.

Lil Rounds is that St. Louis auditioner who lost her house in a tornado. She also happens to be a really wonderful retro-soul singer. (watch her audition).

I’m hearing Kendall Beard’s audition will air tomorrow night.   And we’ll get to see her Dad do the Gator. Fun times!   Kendall, a Nashville-based singer songwriter has a MySpace HERE. She recently took her music down.

    I wasn’t all that taken with Adam, but I haven’t watched anything other than his initial audition. I thought he was ok.

    Wooohoo!! I am sooo excited to see Adam. I’ve spent every day since his audition aired watching his youtube videos. I need to learn to calm down though cuz I tend to eat alot when I get excited. *lol*

    It seems a lot of from his New Year’s Eve celebration performances are on there.

    i don’t want to get excited yet. i want to wait to see how they choose songs and sing them on a stage with an audience. but still a little excited about adam and lil rounds.

    Wow, thought I liked Felicia from that teeny tiny snippet from her audition but that You Tube performance blew me away. She’s my fave girl so far. And for a season that all the judges/producers said was slanted towards the guys, I’ve been way more impressed with the girls so far.

    I enjoy looking for the Little Miss Sunshine in the group if that makes sence not one from the homogeneous sounding /style group.Sort of the disneyesk vibe I get from Lasesha which bugs me but is early..Whats wrong with the theater thier talented or is the meaning ott?

    I’m really excited about Adam. He may not win, but I don’t care. Ià ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢m intrigued to see what he will do on the Idol stage. He will definitely make the show interesting. As for Felicia, we didn’t get to see much of her audition, but I did get a chance to hear her music before it taken down on her myspace. I remember liking it, but I need to see her perform before I can get excited about her.

    Thank the LORD that Felicia made it. And Adam too. I love these 2 so far.

    As for that possible list- i don’t buy it. I just don’t see Austin (high school president from Salt Lake auditions) not making Top 36- he reminds me too much of Eoghan from this year’s X-Factor that SImon fell in love with even tho his voice was not nearly as strong as the rest, but he made it to the FInale without ever being in the bttm because he had soo much like-ability.

    And Rose not making it??? After all that pimping??? I HIGHLY doubt it.

    I love Lil, sheà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s the best singer by FAR!!!!! She has the total package, she has the voice, look, and attitude. Her being in the top 36 was a given, and like all the others blogs mention sheà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s going to make the top 12 or more easily.     I’m not sure if Adam will appear on the show as anything but the nice boy next door, although one can always hope for a bit of glitter on his face à   la Marc Bolan. However, there is a bit in me that secretly hope that he might, just might, turn up as Dr Frank N Furter and frighten the pants off everyone on AI and half of America. It’ll sure be something to behold and remember forever.

    So far the person I remember best from all the auditions so far is the 16-year-old who made up her own songs and did this flirty, jazzy, kind of sophisticated short ditty. I hope she is as good as her audition because she’d bring something fresh and I’d like to see how her talent develops on the show.

    Shoot! I already have some favorites this season, but it’s so hard to remember all the names at first, for me anyway, lol. Funny, for all the doubts I had about a followup to season 7, AI8 seems to be shaping up well, quite well indeed! I LOVE THIS SHOW, lol.
