Season 5 Idol Auditioner Arrested Outside of Britney Spear’s House: “It Will Be on You Tube Soon Enough” She Told Me

This is a little freaky.

When I first started this blog, back in November of   2005, I was in contact with an Idol auditioner named Miranda Tozier-Robbins who had made it in front of the judges at the Season 5 Boston auditions.   She blogged about her experiences HERE.

She had some interesting inside info, so I linked to her blog and featured her in a couple of posts.   Later, she friended me on My Space.   Once in a while I’d get a message from her–at one point she was attending a film and visual arts school near where I live–but no major contact.

Last week she sent me a message, said she was on a “paparazzi gig” and wondered if I had any contacts to Britney Spears.

“I live in L.A and am planning a stake out at Britney Spears’ crib. Britney or no Britney we are throwing a party in the back of her pool,” she wrote.

Not sure why, but Miranda thought I might have contacts who could pass on Britney’s itinerary for the next few days.

“Britney showing up or not showing up at her crib Tuesday night/Wednesday…there’s a party in the back of her crib…” she added.

And after cautioning me to keep the info on the QT, she wrote, “It will be on You Tube soon enough…”

So, imagine my surprise when I found this tonight while surfing the web:

A camouflage-clad woman was arrested for trespassing Thursday morning after allegedly sneaking into Britney Spears’ gated community and peeking through the windows of the singer’s Calabasas, Calif., home, E! News has confirmed.

According to the Malibu/Lost Hills Station, an L.A. County Sheriff’s deputy arrested 26-year-old Miranda Tozier-Robbins on suspicion of trespassing and disorderly conduct after security guards spied her peeping into Spears’ abode.

After realizing, “Hey, that isn’t the window washer,” one of the private guards asked her to leave the prestigious Oaks neighborhood. When she seemed reluctant to do so, they physically escorted her off the property and called the cops.

While originally held on $5,000 bail, Tozier-Robbins, was released after agreeing to appear June 16 in a Malibu court.

Holy sh*t!

I didn’t think much about it when Miranda initially contacted me.   It sounded like one of her film-school projects.   I think she was hoping to capture some footage for a video that would hopefully go viral on You Tube.

Not sure why she thought trespassing would be a good idea. Not smart.   I wonder how she even managed to get on her property…

    Honestly, I don’t think Miranda is obsessed with Britney in particular. It just sounded like a stupid prank to me. Like she was doing it for attention.

    I did reply to her message. Of course, I have no contacts to Britney Spears. Why would I?

    DA recently said that several girls who wanted to meet him just walked into his house and his mom turns around to find them. They don’t have the armed guards like Britany. People have no sense anymore.

    okay, I forgot to mention how funny it is to me how frequently this nutter used the word “crib”. Who talks like that? I mean, other than the guys on MTV Cribs that is.

    So, then, not dangerous – just a harmless attention-whore. I’m always amazed at the lengths to which people will go to get on TMZ.

    I understand how an attention-starved, wanna be living in LA would salivate over the idea of her very own viral video. But, what kind of bend do you have to go around to start believing breaking and entering is the way to achieve that.

    And, trespassing at a residence that clearly has full time security indicates that you’re missing a few IQ points.

    That sure sounds scary… but now Jeff is staying in UTAH and David is going solo, so I guess the hold family feel more safe… and Lupe is way to sweet to hit anyone…but I sure hope they buy a great security system for their house…

    Girl you always find yourself in the midle of the action j/k… I ´m glad that nothing happen… and it sounds to me like a prank… lots of my friends have done stupid things while in college, so I ´m sure she didn ´t stop to think twice what she was doing…

    Oh wow! I first saw this in the side bar and thought, awe, this only has to do with Britney, no big deal. But then I saw you had a ‘connection’ mj. I have to say, the internet is the place to break out these days, so I can see how she would think she could make something big of herself. (Not that I understand her actions, however.) It sounds like it’s harmless however, which is good.

    P.S. SpenserJ, I like the whole skillet idea.

    haha, i just saw this clip on the Daily 10 on E! ans thought to myself ‘i cant wait to go tell mjs about this’, and of course not only does mj already have the story up, but she knows the chick. The pic they showed of her made her look like a man. and aparently she tried out for idol twice. and then they proceeded to compare her to Paula Godspeed..oh brother…

    I talked to someone from E! today, and I think the chick was a little disappointed that I didn’t paint her as an obsessed stalker.

    I really don’t think there’s a comparison to Goodpseed here. Miranda is just an attention-seeker who made some bad choices.

    That was definitely the angle they were going for. They mentioned that they called her mom who said “she really loves Britney”. But they didn’t mention anything about film school or youtube or anything else. I guess stalker is a more interesting news angle than attention-whore.
