Randy Jackson hosted, and Syesha Mercado performed at the “Gala For Children” at the Beverly Hills Hotel last night.

The event was sponsored by A Place Called Home, a non-profit youth center providing at-risk youth with a safe haven. Since its inception, the center has benefited thousands of youths in the South Central area of Los Angeles.

Will Syesha be blogging about the event? Of course she will!

LOL, yeah she will… I usually forget she’s a little bit younger than me. But everytime I read her blog is like, hee I wrote like this in high school, talking about myself in third person…

    SyNoprah!

I still kill myself laughing over the fact that she tried to have an AI.com account.

Really? I atcually find her blogs pretty ok for her age. She can talk about meaningless and meaningful things at the same time, I think it’s funny.
I like how she keeps in contact with her fans that way.

Anyway, I’m curious to know what she sang. Would love a video of it.

Nah… Typical high school emo blog…

oh geez, Randy got her an extra minute for her 15 minutes of fame.

LOL I think we young adults can be very Emo too.
Dunno, but compared to Jason’s blog (who is her age) it seems ok. At least I only need to read once to understand what she’s saying.

Syesha is a cutie. I’ve read one of her blogs before, so I’ll pass on that.

  • abbysee

She is adorable, and the blogs are pure Syesha.

In this photo, she reminds me a little bit of Diana Ross. Here blogs can be funny.

Awe… I love Syesha. I’m so glad she is using her celebrity status to help kids. I admire her and Brooke for their passion. I hope the Davids do more. Also, I’ve read a few of her blogs. They are very “Syesha.” I think she could be very cliche when she writes, but the thing that makes her her is the fact that she means everything she writes.
