Is Nikki a bit sabotaged here? :D It’s just impossible to hear her all through the song :D Except the very end.

Never really a Paul fan, but I gave this a try and… yeah. I just don’t like his voice or style here at all. No idea re Nikki. Couldn’t really hear her. Just – not – good to me.

I’m not a Paul fan either, but this is a pretty song.

It’s an ok song. But, it’s not very special musically or lyrically. However, I loved the cello and violin additions–very pretty. It really helped the song quite a bit.

Are these together as a musical act now? What happened to his group he was with prior to AI?

I do like Paul’s voice for the most part… & it certainly appears he has a wife’s career opening doors for them (first of it’s kind for Idols I think).  Great that they sing together. (Good question about his band).   I’ve purchased a (catchy, for lack of another word) duet from them & enjoy it.  I have no problem w/her voice being quieter b/c it seems on purpose for the song.  I do have that again problem w/repeat lines filling up a song.  There’ll be some that like it & will buy it.

Good to see how in love they still are. Love the little smile and blush Nikki does as she looks at Paul in the end. May they always feel this way.
As for the song, I think it was pretty much done as it was supposed to be done, with Paul in the lead. Nikki isn’t standing too close to the mike and she doesnt have a strong voice. I also do not a song to repeat lyrics over and over again, but at least it was the chorus for the most part. I think it should do well as a love song. They did a nice job with it.

Paul is a songwriter in need of a singer.  A lot of songwriters will turn their works over to a singer to promote it.

The arrangement and the chord progression seem to be beautiful, the lyrics are ok, but the vocal melody is weak. They need to give this song to a good singer and ask him ho reinvent the melody.
