Monday Ratings: Smash, DWTS Rise, The Voice Stays Steady

Ratings are in from TVByTheNumbers

The Voice was even with last week’s 3.7 adults 18-49 rating, getting no boost from lack of CBS original competition. At 10pm, Smash received a 2.1 adults 18-49 rating, up 11% compared to last week’s season/series low 1.9 adults 18-49 rating. With CBS in all repeats, NBC easily topped the nights adults 18-49 ratings.

Dancing with the Stars was up 3% to a 3.0 adults 18-49 rating, after last week’s 2.9 18-49 rating. 20/20: Dance Floor Confidential received a 2.1 adults 18-49 rating in a DWTS special, the same as the last new episode of Castle.

Hart Of Dixie was also down a tenth, also matching its series low 0.5 adults 18-49 rating, vs. last week’s 0.6 adults 18-49 rating.

Smash and DWTS ratings appear to have benefited from CBS shows being in repeats, but not the Voice, which remained unchanged. Maybe the numbers would have slipped otherwise. Once again, The Voice beats DWTS in the demo, but not in total viewers.

I hate to imagine the Voice plummeting further next week without repeats but I would say it’s possible.

Yay Smash! Haha. It’s pretty sad to be excited over numbers like that, but the show needs all the help it can get! Maybe we can push it over 7 or 8 million viewers by finale time? Yeah right…

Do all 8 contestants left perform next week? Since its getting close to the end, perhaps that will help them at least hold steady.

Yay for Smash! It’s really doing good, better than I imagined anyway. With Glee going downhill (even though I still love it), I think Smash will have the rise it deserves. Last night’s episode was AMAZING

Yay for Smash! I am enjoying that show so much.
It´s getting better and better. I am so happy we have a Season 2 coming up.
Oh.. and Nick Jonas will be in the finale so that will keep helping that ratings a bit I think. People loved him that last time he was there.

I loved Kat’s solo on Smash this week but absolutely hated that DEv and group number.   Ivy did good on her solo but I actually liked the guy that wrote it sitting at the piano singing it better.
