Great choice for a second single.

  • Montavilla

Wait… Lauren is getting a promo schedule? Did they not get the memo? She is to be erased! Erased from existence!

Eh. Lauren’s got a promo schedule now. Let’s lay off the sarcasm pointed at fellow posters.

  • gangreen29

Georgia Peaches is a great choice for the second single!

  • Kylee

It looks like some of the promo she is doing is a little different from Scotty’s. He did The Today Show and Jay Leno and she isn’t, but she is doing Good Morning America, CNN, E! News, Entertainment tonight, etc.

  • lili_anne7

I’m glad they chose Georgia Peaches, I think it’s a good choice. It’s the first single released by a S10 contestant that I actually like. And I’m not just saying this because I’m a Lauren fan, believe me, if they had chosen “The Middle” or “She’s a Wildflower”, I would not be saying the same thing.

  • Ratna12

Georgia Peaches is a great choice for the next single and Lauren will sing the heck out of the song.
I hope that she’ll rest her voice good right now because the next 2 weeks will be sing, talk, sing and talk some more.

    Good luck Lauren !

Georgia Peaches is a good single. I think it’ll have a better reception than TTWG. If only OOS was released as Scotty’s 2nd single..TPTB effed up big time.

    She got more?

I think Georgia Peaches is a good 2nd single choice for Lauren. I hope it does well for her as well as her album. That’s a very nice press release.

  • db987

Nice choice for 2nd single she sounds great on it. Best of luck to her.

  • Montavilla

Sorry, MJ. I couldn’t resist. I really am happy for Lauren and glad that she’s getting good promotion.

I’m not into country, but I think she has a great personality. I loved her Idoloonies interview, so I think she’s going to do really well on her press tour.

I wish her all the best of luck.

  • EmyR

Georgia Peaches was by far my favorite of the songs on the single list, so I’m excited they went with it. Looking forward to seeing her on these shows, she’s undeniably a charming young lady.

  • BonnieDee

Very excited about this. I can’t wait for October 11th!

  • girlygirl

Yay for the promotion schedule. Meh on the choice of 2nd single

  • Eileen99

Looks like a great promo lineup, I’m excited! I love the choice for second single.

  • michigan

That was my guess, she will do this song live with a lot of pep. She can always release a ballad later. And Lauren on Ellen, good place to sing an uptempo song, get the crowd dancing…

  • Kirsten

This is a good promo schedule. It will be great to see Lauren all over our screens again.

I think “Georgia Peaches” is going to sound fantastic live and is a really good choice for the promo tour. I think it will do a good job of defining who Lauren is for new fans.

  • Lucy1234

YAY – they chose Georgia Peaches. It was my favorite of the 4 songs on rate the music survey, although I liked them all. I am very excited for Lauren’s album – great promo schedule – setting the DVR now.

  • stwbcross

Awesome, finally. Hoping this is the beginning of a very long and successful career for Lauren.

  • iluvai

    Wishing her all the best.

  • Drew

    Color me shocked.

  • curry

She is the real deal. I’m happy for her. Predication…She’ll be opening for Carrie Underwood next year on Carrie’s tour.

  • windmills

Good single choice out of the 4. Now please take the key one step down for Lauren’s live performances.

Piggybacking single promo on album promo is what will give Georgia Peaches a better chance at country radio. They can brag on Lauren’s 1st week sales and talk about how the song’s going to be more recognizable than your average new song because Lauren’s performed it on a bunch of TV shows.
