It begins with a retrospective  at 8 pm on ABC. On NBC, Carson Daly hosts a party featuring Train and  The Voice winner, Cassadee Pope, beginning at 10 pm. The Voice’s Trevin Hunte on Up-Tempo Risks, Doubting Teachers, Big Dreamgirls Moments – Trevin Hunte may have specialized in big, booming ballads during Season 3 of The Voice, but don’t try to slap a label on him in his post-show career. “I just want to create feel-good music,” says the soft-spoken fourth-place finisher. “I definitely love my R&B and soul, but I want to make different types of music that connects different types of people.” – Read more at TV Line

Kellie Pickler Shares Remarkably Personal Moment With Fan At Concert – Most country-music lovers who attended the 2012 Ram Jam all-star concert event in Nashville Saturday were just there for a rockin’ good time. However, when American Idol alum Kellie Pickler took the stage, the evening took a remarkably emotional turn, showcasing a touching and personal moment between the star and her fans. Right after performing her rollicking 2008 hit “Best Days Of Your Life,” Pickler was approached by a woman in the audience who came up to the edge of the stage. Pickler knelt down and spoke quietly to her for a few minutes, then held the teary-eyed fan in a long embrace. – Read more at Yahoo.com

I think Britney really missed an amazing opportunity with The X Factor. She should have released an album in November and at least performed at the finale to support it. Instead, she’ll most likely be dropping the CD at the exact same time as the new judges are revealed for next season…. and she won’t be on the roster.

    Greyson Chance????????

  • fuzzywuzzy

lol Yeah, I was surprised at that too. I think that it’s because Ellen DeGeneres is a good personal friend of Ryan Seacrest’s.

I’m glad she didn’t, though because I think when the judges do that they overshadow the contestants.  Or in some cases, the contestants overshadow them..

I still watch Anderson and Kathy on CNN. I could care less about seeing Bieber tonight  but then again I am not in his young fan demographic.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_ACMLXLYSSX73RNYQOUZWSO2I4U Enough already!

Think I’ll watch Fox tonight as Seacrest seems to have overloaded his party with teenagers.   Somehow bringing in the New Year with Bieber of Carly Rae just doesn’t appeal to me.  Fox might surprise everyone and have a great show, or I might go out and miss them all.  Happy New Year to one and all…may all your dreams come true!

I’m super enjoying the top 30 countdown moments on Ryan Seacrest’s show.  It’s a nice walk down memory lane.

  • Goodvibes27

C’mon Taylor, stop talking about that new album and release it already!! Lots of SP waiting for it.

  • MellyPer1692

    What is SP?

never watched the others but ABC has always taped a lot of their performances to suit the artists schedules often in LA.  They are considered the official Times Square broadcast which is why they broadcast the artists who are performing live in Times Square.  The show also has a long tradition and gets much better ratings than the others so its also better exposure..and even if you watch other networks from Times square, you can often hear the live performances or the hosts will even mention what that noise is int he background…plus this year pple may be tuning in to see hte first NYE in our lives without Dick clark.  Although when Seacrest is no longer with us will we have dick clarks new years rockin eve with Ryan Seacrest hosted by Suri Cruise and Kimye Kardashian
