Nick Jonas’ Possible ‘American Idol’ Gig May Display His ‘Dry Humor’ – “Well rumors are true; he’s being considered for a judge and if he was to be a judge on that show, he would an incredible job,” the eldest JoBro, Kevin, shared with MTV News about his baby brother. “And I really hope he gets the job. And I hope they choose Nick.” “I think he would bring insight to it, unlike a lot of people. At his age, he’s been able to accomplish so much and be able to do so many kinds of things, whether it was Broadway, whether it was like pop music, whether it was producing for other artists. Like he’s done it mostly all, so I think he can have his feet planted on the ground to be a good judge.” – Read more at MTV

Cher Lloyd pelted with bottles of urine at V festival – Cher Lloyd was bottled off stage at last night’s V festival, ending the concert early. The 19-year-old singer was reportedly in tears after she was hit with bottles filled with urine. Despite having no trouble at V’s first night, in Staffordshire, the Swagger Jagger singer faced an unruly crowd when she appeared in Chelmsford in Essex. Two songs into her set, Lloyd was struck by a bottle and walked off stage. When she reappeared, she asked the audience to behave: “It’s hard enough being up here, but it’s not nice having bottles of piss chucked at you,” she said. But the crowd was unrelenting. More missiles landed on stage and Lloyd called the whole thing off. “Thank you so much for all the nice messages, shame that a couple of people had to ruin it,” she wrote on Twitter. “Tomorrow is another day.” – Read more at The Guardian

Yes, two physical education classes are required for a degree!  I took bowling and volley ball.  I was the oldest student in the class and had three young children.  I wish Scotty the best of luck as he pursues a college degree.  Good for him!

I remember they were asking Adam Lambert about that “threat” of bottle throwing in an interview…

Why don’t they just boo the singer instead ? That is already humiliating enough… Throwing bottles can be dangerous and bodily fluids can be infected with all sorts of viruses/bacteries…

  • Axxxel

:-( about Adam and those DoSomething awards….

  • sagi

Just heard that Kris Allen will be joining Danny Gokey on his Sophia’s Heart Cruise? O_o

Booing might be harmless but I don’t think people should do that either even the performance is awful. It’s still humiliating.
I saw a video from a former idol that was booed from bad performance and it was humiliating. I felt so sorry for the guy. I can’t imagine how Cher must be feeling right now:(

Golf is a class!????? Never heard of this until reading the comments today. All the time I wasted on Calc, Econ, Stats, and Bio. I could have been in Golf. Darn.

Great seeing James at a very special event with an impressive cast of celebrities all being a part of such an important cause and knowing it is  something that  truly matters to him makes me soooo proud

  • Larc

Years ago when I was in college a certain number of hours in Phys Ed classes were mandatory.  Golf classes would satisfy part of that requirement.

I guess I did not see James sitting with a group in that video. Maybe I missed something?

  • Anonymous

It wasn’t James sitting at the table or with a group - there was a guy sitting at a table towards the end of the video that looked like David Cook to me – sorry, I’m the one who started that conversation.  Someone replied that it is a wrestler by the name of CM Punk. Sorry for the confusion! :)

  • roarpen

Ohhhhh….OK. LOL – saying “a wrestler by the name of CM Punk” is kind of like saying “a rock singer by the name of Steven Tyler.”
