The Voice’s James Wolpert: ‘It’s My Honor to Be Any Sort of Protégé’ to Adam Levine – Throughout this season on The Voice, James Wolpert continued to wow audiences with his indie-rock performances. Unfortunately, he didn’t beat the Twitter “curse” and his journey came to an end as a member of the Top Five, but don’t expect this to be the last you hear of the singer. “It’s bittersweet to say goodbye to the competition, but I made it up until the very end,” Wolpert told Parade.com. “I couldn’t be happier.” Next up for the artist is a chance to write some music of his own. “I love writing music, and think that may be my strong suit even more than singing,” he said. – Read more at Parade

Megan Hilty: I Got My ‘Tramp Stamp’ Updated During Sound Of Music Live – Small screen star and Broadway vet Megan Hilty wasn’t about to miss NBC’s “The Sound of Music Live!” broadcast – but due to a longer-than-anticipated inking, the actress watched Carrie Underwood’s big debut from an unlikely venue! “So I was in this tattoo parlor when ‘Sound of Music’ was [on], so we got the guy at the tattoo parlor to turn on ‘Sound of Music,’ so everyone was watching Carrie Underwood and Laura Benanti and Audra MacDonald with us,” she added. – Read more at Access Hollywood – Read more at Access Hollywood

‘Survivor’s’ Jeff Probst Previews Sunday’s Finale: ‘Brutal’ Final Tribal Council – Heading into Sunday’s Survivor season finale, there are two extra people left in the game than is usually the case, thanks to the re-introduction of Redemption Island. Three people remain on Redemption, but only one will get back into the game for a shot at competing at the $1 million prize. “I like that” there are more people left on the show, host and executive producer Jeff Probst tells The Hollywood Reporter. “I’m a big fan of second chances. I hear people all the time saying that it takes away the purity of the show. But it’s a matter of opinion, and I don’t think I’m right by any means.” – Read more at The Hollywood Reporter

Ruben Studdard — sexier, slimmer, ready to give us his ‘unconditional love’ = Ruben says, “No matter where my career is, or where people perceive it to be, I just love to sing. I think music can mean so much, on so many levels. And not simply for the average listener. I believe music inspires writers and artists — painters. They hear a song, it clicks and they write or create something based on that sound. Of course, I’m sure writers and painters feel the same way about their own art — it inspires music! But, as I’m a singer, I feel my art is the most expansive and influential. Not me, Ruben Studdard, but the art of song, of music, in general. It is so life-affirming.” – Read more at Chicago Tribune

Winning “The X Factor” hasn’t really changed Tate Stevens – He’s now working on his second album, although it might not come out until late 2014. He has recorded six songs already, one of which should be released as a single soon, maybe January. But whatever happens, expect Stevens to stay in Missouri. The other night, he and Ashlie were grocery shopping, “and some lady just walked up and said, ‘This is why we love you.’ I looked at her and kinda laughed. She said, ‘You shop at Price Chopper!’” Yep, and Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club, too, he told her. – Read more at Kansas City Star
