ROFL, MJ. I love how we Idol crazies get sentimental over the dumbest things. The Ford ads, the giant Coke cups, the annoying and shameless plugs by celebrity audience members … all the crass commercialism that reminds us that it’s really all about the money, and not the talent. *sniff* That’s the Idol I fell for all those years ago. :D

We get Idol the day after its shown in the US but we never get the Ford commercials… took me quite a while of reading here to work out what people were commenting on each week.

I hope you sponsors realize that American Idol Is probably losing a lot of viewers. These guys chosen as the top 5 are unbelievably boring, & even if the girls are okay, I can’t stand to watch any of it if I have to hear those ridiculous guys. This year it was totally clear to me that no votes could have been counted at all, not the way this mess ended up. Ryan may mention all the phone-in votes this year,”more than last year”, but that’s a laugh!! You want people to call in to “vote” just so the show can make money from those phone calls, that’s the only reason. There’s no way that young people who are mostly the ones listening to music will ever want to listen to any of these guys, & I don’t see how the younger people who are interested in music will think your show is relevant at all for their lives. Trying to get away from the “white guys” just shows how badly rigged it is. Those judges look like fools raving about those losers they’ve had to rave about. Charlie Askew is the only one who was original & really good in my opinion. I can see people tuning in to the show just to see what he’d do next. And the way the judges treated him, so rudely, just made me hate them!! I won’t ever watch that fraudulent, lying show again. There’s no longer ANYTHING at all interesting about it anymore. I think a lot of people feel like I do. That foolish shoe doesn’t have a clue about what most people are interested in. I don’t think it’ll even have 2 more seasons left. YOU PEOPLE ARE STUPID!!!!

Like anybody really cares anymore. those votes don’t count at all!!

Your comment is right on & I think it should be obvious to everyone now that votes aren’t really counted, they want you to call in so the show can make money off those calls. They’re certainly not free. They’re lying to us people & it’s time we just quit watching all the bullshit.
