But then Simon and he wouldn’t have broken up and made up again, and made us cry, and that would have been a lot less fun.

I LOVE his DWTMAT performance. I just happened to hear S. Tyler do it yesterday, and–no offense intended to ST fans– I realized how much I prefer DC’s version. It seems more heartfelt to me, more about a guy really truly doting on a woman, where ST’s seems more self-indulgent and about the guy, if that makes any sense.

Bling, boots, vests, straps, watches the size of the clock on the Tower of London, wristbands, enough necklaces to re-open his father’s jewelry store. . .it’s just all so him, lol. Which, to me, means spontaneous, enthusiastic, in love with practically everything he encounters, totally willing to look goofy in the service of music/a good cause/making somebody happy, or whatever. Honestly, he cracks me up and makes me smile like that Happy Face sticker he had on his hat the other night. Really, a happy face.
