The official music video for Nandito Ako is here! I know we’ve seen footage of the Philippines mini-series that stars David Archuleta in his acting debut, but this is just NOT GETTING OLD!

In the new video we have:  David dressed in a Bunny suit falling in the street, David praying at his  mother’s grave (but…she’e not really dead!), David punching some dude out (David gets hit in the head with an oar in return),  David in a love scene.

Seriously? This is solid GOLD stuff.  I have GOT TO get my hands on a copy of this mini-series when it’s released. I don’t even care about sub-titles. Who needs them when there is so much awesome on the screen.

The music video features the self-titled theme song, “Nandito Ako.”

    Archie has always worked best under pressure.  Having the mission deadline has and will make him put out more and better stuff than otherwise.  It’s a good thing, I think.

    Yes. TV5 is owned by a very rich businessman. The TV station as they say, is the third largest TV network in Manila but it’s wealth is higher than any other TV Networks. The one who owns it is also into telecommunications, resorts and other businesses in the Philippines. They have everything to hire international celebrities. They can afford it.

    I saw a video on YouTube. Somebody was taking a video when David was leaving the hotel. There was a businessman in the video, he approached David and gave him something. I think it’s the businessman’s contact information. It could be in the Philippines again, or somewhere in South East Asia. :)

    I think David A. and the TV Network agreed to keep the talent fee themselves. In Manila, they don’t usually tell talent fees to public or publish their net worth. David’s fee was “his own price” according to the TV Network. So just think that David A. went to the Philippines to do the series because he’s paid really well, higher than what he got during his previous visits to Manila. And hello, TV5 is a rich station so they can afford it. Money is not a problem to them.

    Thanks for the info. So glad to hear the series is doing well. I hope it helps TV5 accomplish their ranking/rating goal.  It makes me proud of David and his fans (as well as the other cast members and their fans) to see the David’s name, character, or some other aspect of the series TT worldwide, in the US and other countries and in various cities across this country. It’s has been going on for about since Nandito Ako aired. David Archuleta Can Act trended for over 12 hours in the Philippines today.  Of course fans were elated that David saw and tweeted about the TT.  I thought it was funny that he tweeted right in the middle of the juicy scenes and not during the very long commercials or when it was over. LOL, David!

    It’s just a bit weird because the show’s on air but the male lead is no longer in Manila. lol. I hope it won’t affect the show’s performance.

I am totally hooked on Nandito Ako… glad to hear David A. got big $$$ for it, and for the Bench gig, he totally deserves it, the camera loves the dude… and when his songs filter in in the background from time to time? chills, baby, chills … can’t wait for that OPM album

    Interestingly enough David not being in the Phils isn’t impacting the shows popularity.  Nandito Ako, David Archuleta Can Act, Josh Bradley, various other combinations and the most recent Watch Nandito Ako Marathon has trended worldwide and in lots and lots of cities in every continent every day since it began!!!
