David Archuleta sang “God Bless America” at the Reebok 2011 Heroes Celebrity Baseball event at Dr Pepper Ballpark in Frisco, TX.

The game benefited The Heroes Foundation and The Mike Modano Foundation.

    Beautiful heartfelt performance by David A. I could feel the passion and pride that David has for America. He was visiting with some of the military there shortly before singing and know he appreciates their service.
    Great charity event.
    Mavericks owner was there trophy and all.

    Mark Cuban, Dallas Mavericks owner was there to play baseball at the celebrity charity event. He showed his treasured NBA championship trophy to the crowd and they got excited. Also, Academy Award actor Michael Clarke Duncan (The Green Mile) and Donald Faison (Turk on Scrubs) and more celebrities participated in the event.

    David fabulous as always. Just a lovely singer. But he must give attention to avoid repeating the Spock hair.

    Note: Michael Clark Duncan was nominated for, but did not win, an Academy Award for The Green Mile.

    David has such a unique and distinctive voice, always so powerful, pure with perfect tone. Just a beautiful rendition of God Bless America. I love the pictures of the charity events David participates in, the other celebrities and dignitaries always surround David, shaking his hand, taking pictures with him.

    David will be leaving for Asia where preparations for his arrival have been unbelievable.

    Dr Pepper Ballpark is a minor league stadium that opened in 2003 with a capacity of capacity of 10,000.

    It was a successful event for Hereos Foundation.
    Money raised from this event will benefit The Heroes Foundation and The Mike Modano Foundation which has raised over $1.7 million for local youth.

    David puts as much passion into singing patriotic songs as he does his own songs. That ending was just beautiful. He is definitely becoming the go-to-guy for these types of events.
