Darren Criss Covers Katy Perry’s “Part of Me” for Trevor Live (VIDEO)

The Trevor Project honored Katy Perry last night in Los Angeles at their annual event “Trevor Live.”

Check out Glee star, Darren Criss, performing a cool acoustic version the Katy hit “Part of Me” as part of the event.

As many of you know, Darren is no stranger to the pop singer’s catalog.  His character on Glee, Blaine Anderson, was introduced when he serenaded a smitten Kurt (Chris Colfer) with an a capella version of  Katy’s “Teenage Dream”.

The event raised funds for Trevor, which provides crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth.

Many other stars came out to support the cause, including, Jessica Sanchez, Kevin McHale, Chris Colfer, Kristin Chenoweth and more. The production was directed by So You Think You Can Dance director, Adam Shankman.
