Dancing With The Stars To Undergo Shakeup, Including New Judges (Report)

The New York Post reports that after its results show was cancelled, Dancing With The Stars will undergo further shakeups, including a reboot of the judges panel.

“No one has a confirmed contract yet,” a show source tells The Post. “I think Bruno [Tonioli] will be back, but Carrie Ann [Inaba] and Len [Goodman] are probably gone.

“The network has been very evasive about it.”

Derek Hough, who just won the Mirror Ball Trophy with Kellie Pickler is reportedly sitting the next season out to work on outside projects. Pro, Cheryl Burke, is also unlikely to return in September, according to the source.

The producers will make changes with an eye for trimming the budget. “The show has become too expensive,” says the Post source.

Eliminations are now expected to be announced at the beginning of each episode. Host, Tom Bergeron, is expected to return. Good news–like Ryan Seacrest on Idol, Tom Bergeron makes keeping the show moving look easy.

I wonder if the DWTS producers will replace judges with lowering the aged demo in mind? Usually, n DWTS draws in more viewers than The Voice, but the 18-49 demo numbers are significantly lower.

What do you think? Would you miss Cheryl and Len if they left?
