Clay Aiken and Arsenio Hall will be mounting separate charity events on Sunday’s Celebrity Apprentice finale. Both men want to win, but it has not kept them from remaining friendly competitors. Kinda similar to Clay and his Season 2 competitor, Ruben Studdard on American Idol, no?

We’ll see if Clay can finally win a reality competition when the results are announced live on Sunday at 9 pm on NBC.

Watch Clay and Arsenio talk about their friendship on this morning’s Today show.

Did the censors have to do a lot of “bleeping”? lol  Now, I’m thinking of watching last season.

I don’t remember. But it did get ugly. NeNe went off.

Last season was fantastic. Lots of drama. Meatloaf, NeNe, LaToya Jackson, and Gary Busey brought in lots of LOL moments.

I remember seeing the promo with Meatloaf screaming at Gary Busey. lol  It sounds like last season was memorable mainly for the crazy people and not the winners. I can understand why the ratings have fallen off so much this year.

I’d like Arsenio to win just because I like him … and because I cannot stand Aubrey Oday and her narcissism. Of course, I can’t stand Lisa either but she’s the lesser of the two evils.

Thanks to those who brought the various links. Interesting stuff. I’m looking forward to how it all plays out. We all know reality shows are edited to slant things, but this is one of the worst.

Two things that I was surprised that weren’t edited happened on last week’s show and really bother me.

Lisa said that she won $100,000 for her charity and after she takes her cut, that’s a lot of money.

Then when Marly and John were talking to Trump, Marly said that from being on the show her charity raised $7 million. Trump immediately said, ‘Where is my 25%?’ There was nothing joking about it in his face.

I figured that the celebrities on this show were being compensated. It does not sit well with me that money people think is going to the charities really isn’t.

” It does not sit well with me that money people think is going to the charities really isn’t. ”

Those were jokes. None of the money goes to the celebrities personally.

Are you certain of that? They were both said in a serious way in with other serious conversation.
