The American Idol 15 song spoilers aren’t coming out as quickly as usual this week, but I do have a couple of things so far.
First…Trent Harmon confirmed during a Periscope Q&A that the Idols would be singing TWO SONGS each this week. Also, Tristan McIntosh had said there would be no Judges Save this week (In other words the lowest vote getter goes home.)
Speaking of Tristan, Billy Dukes from Taste of Country tweeted out one spoiler this morning for her. Hopefully we won’t be chasing song spoilers all day from different news outlets. It would be nice if TVLine dumped them all at once as in the past.
This week’s theme is Fan request. The singers will perform tunes requested by Idol fans via twitter (American Idol had been asking all season for fans to make requests using a specific hashtag).

UPDATE: In an interview with NOLA.comMacKenzie Bourg says BOTH SONG SELECTIONS were “America’s Choice”
“The theme is ‘America’s Choice’; America picks for us. America chose two different songs for us to do. They just went with the majority of what America wanted, the top two choices. … (Also) this show is just going to be kind of about our backstories. It’s going to be a very emotional, kind of deep episode.”
