Check out a preview of a brand-new American Idol 11 promo. The 30-second video is a preview of the full 60-second version set to premiere during Sunday’s World Series game on FOX.

    It brought us a big selling winner, and the contestants were talented.

    I remember them doing them this early last year, the Coming Home ad with the former winners played during the World Series.

    Hmmm… interesting concept.  It may be another 5 years before a good season too  Best ones were Season 5 and Season 10… will we have to wait for Season 15?

    I think the reason it’s hard to follow a good season… is that right at the beginning, everyone is comparing them to last season’s contestants and they are not that good yet (cuz it’s the beginning!)   People will be saying “she or he is good, but not as good as Haley, James, Scotty, etc. etc.”  They won’t be willing to give them a chance.  With S10, the slate was clean cuz there were arguably no real standouts from S9.
