Adam Lambert Mentors – Major & Minors (VIDEO)

Adam Lambert was the guest mentor on this week’s Majors & Minors. For those of you unfamiliar the show–after a nationwide search, twelve young performers are mentored by a crew of vocal coaches, musicians and star performers. At the end, the kids will perform a concert and a winner will be chosen to receive a record contract.

Adam was fantastic with the kids, who were rehearsing his hit song “Whataya Want From Me” as a group song. He gave them tips, constructive criticism and encouragement and was extraordinarily kind with his young charges. Of course, the kids responded very positively and seemed to learn a lot from him about stage presence, and how to sing a song with feeling.

In part one, Adam mentors the kids. Part two has a little more Adam in it. And in Part 3, the kids perform his song “Whataya Want From Me”.

Majors & Minors airs on the Hub Network on Sundays at 7 pm. Future mentors include Jordin Sparks and Jennifer Hudson!

Note: The first video is in black and white…for some reason. I’ll replace it later.

    Actually, I’m impressed that MJ hasn’t rapped our knuckles yet for taking this thread off topic, but as someone mentioned earlier, the Queen, EMA is buried too far down.  But to keep it on topic, I watched the video of Adam mentoring the kids and it has to be a hard choice to pick the winner. The young lad playing the guitar (Cameron I think) is very good.

    Hethran, on Majors and Minors, each of the kids is working on an original song and they’ll perform that near the end and pretty much the decision of who wins is made after that performance. I love all of them. It’s gonna be a tough decision.

    Mr American Idol (S8) camp counsellor did it again ! Great mentoring session !
    Would love to see him one day as judge one day on American Idol or The Voice… Maybe in the year 2022 ? Regards, Axxxel
