The Radar interview is whacky, I loved it. I felt bad for poor Megan though, the cameraman seemed to have forgotten she existed. Lol!

This is the first time I see that a reporter is taller than Adam. I like the way Adam looking up, like an innocent boy.

And yah, that jacket better be good.

It is SO easy to see him as a young child being all excited about his costume for Halloween- some things really never do change! This outfit-centric focus of his is hilariously endearing.

I hope he never loses this enthusiasm for performing and playing peacock!

It seems like everyone who interviews Adam has a crush on him (male and female). Adam has some massive charisma. I liked Megan in this too…she’s so cute.

Such a fun interview by the Radar mag guy. I wish there were more like them. I lmao when he ran off with Adam’s jacket and they sniffed each other’s jacket..

I’ve replayed it over and over and am still trying to figure out what Adam did at 1:13 when he reaches over to Megan. It looks like he’s brushing something off her shoulder, and there’s a little “thump” on the microphone.

I agree. There are so many interviews, many of which asked the same old questions. I think it’s easier to give one answer to these repetitive questions than to think of fresh one every time.

I’m an Adamaniac so is it my imagination or is Adam getting 95% of the press?

MJ is a fair and unbiased AI blogger but it seams like there is so much Adam stuff and so very little anyone else. If there were more about anyone else MJ would post it here.

What’s funny is that the Fox News clip, which was first aired in Philly i think and then fed to many other Fox outlets (i’ve seen it in Boston as well), was supposed to be about “the Idols getting ready for the tour”. Lol Adam’s jacket has more press time than all the other Idolettes, including the winner, combined.

and they are doing webisodes. First one is up with Adam and Kris. By the way, if there were any issues with a contract, there would be nothing on his official site. Adam’s statement is up, so therefore 19 approved. Doubt if there were a contract with HiFi to interefere with 19/RCA. So, No problems.

I believe one of Adam’s jacket feathers is sticking out horizontally and Adam is attempting to knock it back down into place – ever the perfectionist!

I think the blue jacket that Adam talks about wearing on tour was actually seen in this 20/20 interview very briefly. (The one he did right after the RS cover.) It probably had yet to be customized or as Adam said “built.” They show him from a rear shot… and it did indeed have tails! Looks cool!

Also, I don’t normally disagree with Adam, but I have to say… the reporter…. he can’t pull off that jacket of Adam’s… LOL. (However Adam of course looks fine in the blazer.)

I like when Megan came around and popped back into the interview after being the mic holder.

But yeah, that guy looks awkward in Adam’s jacket.

Poor Megan is relegated to mic-holder. She has a great line at the end – “I love this hoopla man!” We love him, too, and you’re a sweetheart for saying you love him as well, Megan.

That Radar interview is hysterical. Adam looks much better in his jacket then in a blazer. Of course he can pull off nearly everything…I did feel badly for Megan, b/c she got about *this* much attention, but she was a good sport about, and she should do really well with Amy Winehouse.

It’s been said before but is worth repeating: 19 is NOT setting up these interviews solely with Adam (as they initially did with Kris, b/c he won). The press cannot get enough of Adam. That’s just a fact. It’s nice, however, to see Kris (and KRADAM!) getting more attention. I look forward to Adam’s grand entrance and his newly constructed JACKET, but it’s the singing I am going to see him on the Tour for.

KRADAM webisodes! Oh, I was so hopeful. But I can’t get the webisode to play, just his initial hello video. Anyone else having the same difficulty?

Hoopla is right! Adam Lambert has the ‘it’ factor that can’t be bought, he was born with it. The reason the press can’t get enough of Adam is because of that unexplainable ‘it’ factor.

I liked Megan and Adam being partners in this interview. It was a nice change. I like Kradam, but I think it’s nice to see Kris and Adam’s interaction between more than just the two of them. I haven’t seen much (interview-wise) with Adam and many of the others. I’m sure it’s mostly because Adam and Kris are the top two so they’re getting most of the interviews — and they’re really busy, but it would be fun to see Adam and Anoop, or Matt, Allison, etc.

If you watch all the Radar interviews, Megan does actually get a few minutes of attention. Adam’s time is definitely longer, but the interviewer does ask her a couple questions.

The Radar interviewer is funny…he doesn’t ask the same stale questions, which is nice.

I did notice that. I had to go back and compare the videos because something didn’t seem to jive. Also noticed the placement of Megan switches. She’s standing next to Danny during part of the video, but then she’s on the other side of Anoop later in the same video. Hmm. They also seemed a lot livlier in the LA times video.

The Radar interview (as are all of them) is adorable. I just love Adam’s whole “kid in a candy shop” enthusiasm for everything, particularly fashion. It’s so fun and refreshing. Here’s this guy who looks like he should be playing the edgy, jaded, too cool rock star, but then he just gets such a kick out of every minute detail.

He does inspire me to have more of a hey, WTH! attitude. If you like something, don’t question it, just go for it. He doesn’t obsess about what other people will think, he just does his own thing and you got to love him for it.

Megan is also too cute. I think Adam was kind of giving her a “get otta here” tap on her shoulder because she was not going to stand for being upstaged, so she just went and insinuated herself between them, which was great.

I have a love/hate relationship with Megan. She was one of my favorites early on, but then she got on my nerves. But, I thought she was so cute and cool to come and stand in the middle of the 2 guys. Adam laughed. I also thought she sounded good on her one line from the finale song. I’ll definitely check out what she does.

Okay, going back to Adam and fashion, just watched the webisode à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬’ great. But what was that scary bug shirt he was wearing in the airport? Only Adam …

This is the first year I’ve really followed all the post-Idol press coverage, but I would guess that in previous years most of the coverage also went to the Top 2? At least in the immediate aftermath of the show finale.

So far this year, the press has seemed to be probably 85-95% Adam, Kris or Kradam, with only about 5-15% being on someone other than the Top 2. That’s why I am happy that Lyndsey Parker bothered to do interviews with all of the Top 10 — even if they aren’t my favorites from the show, it’s nice to actually hear something from/about them. Maybe when they go out on tour the others will get more attention? For instance, when they go to a tour stop near someone’s hometown, that person will likely get a lot of the attention.

Looking forward to the à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“grand entranceà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ . I heard ità ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s a new set this year à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬’  maybe it wonà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t be as cheap looking as Ià ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢ve heard the previous ones were.

Haven’t seen one of those sets for years but it wouldn’t surprise me if Adam went to them and said ‘I want to do it THIS way’ and they said okay. After all his Feelin’ Good and second Mad World entrance were the entrances of a star.

One thing I totally love about Adam is that he never dresses down or looks frumpy. He always makes an effort to look his best.

Adam is in the “headline” spot of the Yahoo! homepage, Entertainment tab right now. It’s an omg! slideshow about being out in Hollywood. Of the 15 people featured, of course he’s No.1.

I agree with most of your observations about Adam’s interviewers. Just like us, they can’t get enough of him. He is a star and the media people, being in the biz, have a feeling of who will be succesful. He is so magnetic and he is unflitered, so natural….unlke some idols whose answers tend to be politically correct. About his custom built jacket and the grand entrance, I guess he is saying this to keep people interested in watching the idol tour. It’s his way of promoting the show.

Maybe they find it more interesting or they had more clips on him. Hopefully, we will also get to see the other’s extended version too.

Is this the same interview when they talk about Adam being on the cover of RS, and Megan says he is beautiful every day? How incredibly patient and supportive of Adam she is. He is getting so much attention, and she s still smiling. Props to her.

I don’t know … I just watched the full version again and I’d say it’s is still about 50 percent Adam, 20 percent Kris and Allison and 30 percent everyone else. Poor Megan even got cut out of that version : (

Lola, thanks. I was just reacting to somebody’s comment that the interview was supposed to be about the top 10 and ended up just focusing on Adam. I probably misread the comment and thought they didn’t see the original.

The original video still has a lot about Adam, but it’s definitely a group thing and tries to give some focus to a few people. It was just a goofy thing, anyhow. I enjoyed it but at this point I’m ready for the actual tour (less than 3 weeks away, yay).

I can’t blame the Radar guy for having Adam jacket envy. I do too. So, running over to American Rag to find me a jacket to wear to Adam’s, I mean AI-concert in 2 weeks. I want to look Adam-esque! Absolutely. He can’t really talk songs (other than what he’s already spilled) so he’s feeding us other little tidbits to peak our interest. And he’s the only one doing it. Plus, it’s working. Very smart.

Finally ,the interviews are getting to be more fun and more about the music.
Honestly, I was getting really tired of the AI controversies, the closet and outing thing, the conspiracy theories. Getting tired of Seacrest, Cowell, Abdul and the new girl to some extent. Just wanted to be entertained, and those were not entertaining anymore.

Adam looks like he is doing all he can to get everyone all excited about the Live tour. I wonder how the ticket sales are doing. Hope it all works out well .

I think the tour is going to be a big boost for the three who are now working on their albums – Adam, Allison and Kris. It would not be a surprise that during the last leg of the show they will decide for this three to sing singles from their upcoming album. I think by mid tour , the press will be directed to this three as 19E pushes to promote their albums. That’s just going to be the natural course of business.

That would be a great transition from the Live tour promotions to the release of their albums before Thanksgiving . And they are not even overlapping – their respective market is different from each other. 19E recording must be gyrating with glee on the potential total sales from this three .

LOL! Too funny! Right now I’m desparate to hear what the last song is from his set. I’m guessing it’ll be another song from the show, and going through the list of songs he performed, my top bets would be:

* BorW, WLL, Feeling Good. (Possibly Cryin’)

But the first two, especially, represent the songs he performed that were both the biggest hits with the fans, plus ones that he’s listed as among his personal favs from the show.

I wouldn’t be surprised, in light of last week’s news, for him to switch to BorW, even if it wasn’t chosen, but there may not be time for that. Not to mention, I’d personally prefer WLL.
