The new Little Mix single now has a release date. Sarah-Jane Crawford is not returning to host The Xtra Factor.
Little Mix “Black Magic” (Single Preview)
We must be ready Mixers! The time has come. The girls of Little Mix are ready to start the promotion of their highly-awaited third studio album, scheduled to be released this fall via Syco and Columbia Records.
The new single is called “Black Magic” and it’s scheduled to be released on digital retailers (UK) in July as the first taste of the album. The song was co-written by Ed Drewett.
The music video was filmed on 20 April and it was based on American supernatural thriller film The Craft, released in 1996.
The track receives its first play on Capital FM on Tuesday May 26th.

Little Mix boast ‘best album yet’
LITTLE Mix have finally finished recording their third album.
And the former X Factor champs have announced the lead single Black Magic will be premiered on May 26.
Leigh-Anne Pinnock told me the 80s-inspired follow-up to 2013’s Salute is done and dusted.
Keeping tight-lipped about the album’s title or release date she said: “We’ve just finished it but are still in talks about possible collaborations.
“We’ve always said Nicki Minaj would be the dream.
“The album has an 80s vibe. Not cheesy 80s – it’s more like Prince, that kind of cool sound.”

With a new album, a new sound and a hitherto unheard of creative freedom it was an understandably upbeat Leona Lewis who stepped out in London on Monday morning.
The 30-year-old singer was making her way to Magic FM studios, where she was on hand to promote catchy new track Fire Under My Feet – the lead single from forthcoming album I Am, her first release with new label Island Records.
Leona looked casual in a breezy white patterned blouse and spray-on skinny jeans as she made her way inside for the promotional appearance.

One Direction has been a man down for more than a month. Like the rest of us, they still don’t appear to have recovered from the shock.
The British and Irish boyband appeared overnight on The Late Late Show With James Corden for their first TV appearance post-Zayn Malik.
The now-foursome looked tired as they chatted briefly to their host James Corden via telelink and later in the studio. Indeed, Harry Styles is so gloomy, he’s got a cold. The heartthrob sipped from a mug of tea through the chat, and took some sarcastic comments of “very rock n’ roll” from his bandmates.

Outspoken Louis has started plenty of public bust-ups with Zayn and new partner-in-crime Naughty Boy in recent weeks which have divided 1D fans.
Now management have asked Louis to zip it. My 1D source said: “The management were far from happy with Louis and Zayn’s public spat. They think it looks bad on the band and damages the group’s reputation.
“They know Louis and co are no longer young boys who can be told what to do.
“1D are now so big they are the ones calling the shots but management ‘advised’ Louis to stop bringing bad publicity on the band.”

The One Direction singer was being touted as the perfect choice to replace Louis Walsh but talks have been scrapped due to the group’s world tour.
Insiders say Louis is now being lined up to help Simon Cowell at the Judges’ Houses stage.
And he is the top tip to join Simon on the panel in 2016. My source said: “Louis definitely won’t be a judge this year.
“Simon, ITV bosses and show executives all agreed he would be the perfect judge but there is no way of making it happen.
“One Direction will be away on their world tour at the same time and it’s just not possible. His name has instead been put forward as a mentor at Judges’ Houses.
“Having a member of 1D on the show would be great for ratings.
“Sinitta won’t be happy but Simon is the obvious judge to team him up with.

According to The Mirror, the 30 year-old is first-in-line to join the show in a dramatic personnel shake-up, which may see Louis Walsh leave the talent series.
However, Simon Cowell took to Twitter on Sunday to insist ‘the door remains open for Louis’, despite claims he won’t return to the show.

The judging panel may still be undecided, but Simon Cowell has put his faith in former contestant Olly Murs and reigning Strictly Come Dancing champ Caroline Flack to present ITV’s hit The X Factor.
The pair, who used to present spin off show Xtra Factor together, are replacing departing Dermot O’Leary and began work at the opening singing auditions in Manchester at the weekend.
Caroline, 35, who is also fronting ITV2’s forthcoming Love Island, and 30 year-old chart star Olly, have vowed to make the show more relaxed and less stuffy than ever before as they flirt their way through the series. Here they talk Cowell, curries, catchphrases, and saying goodbye to Louis Walsh…
Can you tell us how you got the job?
Olly: “There were rumours going around for a while. Dermot had decided to leave the show and once that decision was made, our names were then in the hat and it went from there very quickly.
I always get a text at some point from Simon Cowell saying, ‘Olly, we need to talk about X Factor, I think you should do the show with me this year’. Every year! He always said I was a big ambassador of the show and he wanted me to be part of it at some stage. But this year it was more formal, he asked me to dinner.

Sarah-Jane Crawford confirms she’s not returning to The Xtra Factor
Sarah-Jane Crawford has waved goodbye to The Xtra Factor and will not be returning for the next series.
The star was only a part of the talent contest for a year, after joining the ITV2 spinoff show as presenter in 2014.
“Xtra factor has been amazing,” she tweeted today (May 11).
“However I have a new project coming up this summer & with all the changes happening I won’t be back.
“But I’m so excited to see the new line up and wanna wish them all the luck in the world… Can’t wait to watch them in action!”
Crawford is also known for her presenting work on BBC Radio 1Xtra, and for hosting coverage of T in the Park and the Mobo Awards before joining The Xtra Factor.
