But the turbulence of the last month appears to be behind Zayn Malik as he prepares to sail on what one hopes will be calmer waters with his forthcoming second album and its lead single, Let Me.
And the former One Direction star, 25, insists he has moved on from his recent split with Gigi and is fully focussed on promoting his first musical output since 2016 debut Mind of Mine reached number 1 in the UK and US album charts.

Zayn Malik has parted ways with his long-term manager amid claims he’s ‘difficult to work with’.
The singer, 25, was dealt a blow on Monday after Sarah Stennett, co-founder of First Access Entertainment, officially cut ties with the musician.
The pair first started working together following Zayn’s departure from One Direction in 2015, but their relationship is said to have come under pressure as he refused to tour and promote his first album Mind Of Mine.

A music source said: “Ashley is gutted. He was desperate to work on new tracks and also see Camila Cabello live.
“When he applied for a visa online, he recalled the theft when filling in a section about previous criminal activity.
“Even though he was never charged, the incident was still clearly on a file somewhere and he has been stopped from entering America.”
