The Voice just could not compete with the perennial favorite, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer last night. Interestingly, The Voice earned a lower 18-49 demo rating at 2.2/7 but slightly more viewers at 10.87.
The show hit a series low last night. For comparison, the Season 6 semi-final results in the spring earned a 2.6/9 rating in the 18-49 demo with 10.96 viewers and Season Five a year ago 3.1/9 with 11.52 viewers.
The winner for the night was the Victoria Secret Fashion show at 10 pm with 3.3/10 and 9.12 viewers. Again, The Voice scored lower ratings, but more viewers. Competing with half naked ladies is a tall order, I will concede.
