The Voice 5 – Live Playoffs Part 2 – iTunes and Poll Rankings – Who is Going Home?

The Voice - Season 5

Team Cee Lo and Team Christina didn’t hit the chart heights that Team Adam and Team Blake did. Nobody placed in the Top 10, while James Wolpert’s “A Case of You” from Monday night  is still outpacing all the others in the Top 10 at #4.

Also a top 10 winner is  A Great Big World. The band’s collaboration with Christina Aguilera, “Say Something,” shot up the charts after they performed the tune at the top of Tuesday’s show.  It stands at #2 on the iTunes overall chart.

Here is where Team Cee Lo and Team Christina stood on the iTunes chart (via the constantly updated RSS feed) at noon, roughly an hour before the voting window closed.

The highest placing song is Caroline Pennell’s “We’re Going to Be Friends” which should come as NO surprise to anybody, as those indie gals always do well on The Voice. Kudos to Jacquie Lee for making an old song new again.  I did not expect her song to rise so high on the chart.

#11 – Caroline Pennell – Team Cee Lo – We’re Going to Be Friends
#12 – Jacquie Lee – Team Christina – I Put a Spell on You
#15 – Matthew Schuler – Team Christina – Wrecking Ball
#108 – Jonny Gray – Team Cee Lo- Bittersweet Symphony
#109 – Josh Logan – Team Christina – Crazy
#113 – Olivia Henken – Team Christina – Roar
#115 – Stephanie Anne Johnson – Team Christina –  Georgia on my Mind
#123 – Kat Robichaud – Team Cee Lo – She Keeps Me Warm
#273 – Tamara Chaunice – Team Cee Lo – I Will Survive

Amber Nicole’s (Team Cee Lo) “Wasting All These Tears” did not make the Top 300. So much for celebrating The Voice successes outside of the show!

I scrolled through a slew of Team Adam and Team Blake contestant songs before I finally reached Jonny Gray’s position at #108.  Outside the stars crowded together at the top of the listing–Caroline Pennell, Jacquie Lee and Matthew Schuler–this is a weak crop of contestants by comparison.

From Team Christina: Jacquie and Matthew  are locks. Who will take that third spot?  I hope it’s Stephanie, and Josh deserves a spot, but I think Christina has a soft spot for Olivia.  I think it will be a toss up between Olivia and Josh.

Over at Team Cee Lo, Caroline wins everything.  Tamara or Jonny may take the second spot by default. Lucky for them to be on a weak team.  Kat’s performance was too weird to attract enough votes. Will Cee Lo save her? Amber is definitely going home.

I got the Tuesday polls up way late. But here are the results:
