Upgrade Update

I’m still working out the bugs from this week’s WordPress upgrade. I know it probably seems like a big pain in the arse for very little return–the significant changes were under the hood with no obvious user benefits.

But, it was necessary to move to the latest and greatest version of the blog software, just for safety’s (hackers!) sake.

The latest update: Editing comments is back! Yay! Bad news? The plugin I installed that inserted clickable comment page numbers at the top of the thread was too buggy to keep installed.

Now, in order to scroll through the comments, you’ll have to use the links at the bottom of the page, and you can only scroll backwards and forwards to the next page–not pick a page.

Except, that if you’ll notice, after you click older or newer comments, the URL in your browser contains a page number. You can actually plug in the page number you’d like to skip to and then refresh the link to go to that specific page–that’s a work around for now.

I’ll be looking for a paged comments plug-in that works, in the meantime.

At this point, lukers who are not logged in should be able to scroll through the comments using the links at the bottom of the comments page. If you have any questions or issues, please post them in this thread.

Yes, I’m aware there’s something funky is going on with chat, I’m working on that now…

Thanks for your patience.
