The Voice season 19 Blind Auditions continue tonight! This latest preview features cowboy Tanner Gomes singing Dustin Lynch’s “Cowboys and Angels.”
And here’s the kicker: Tanner got 3 chairs to turn and none of them were Blake Shelton. At one point, a relative on Zoom yelled “c’mon Blake!” But alas. After the performance, Blake explained that he didn’t turn because he already had several country singers on his team.
But because he loves to mess with Kelly Clarkson, Blake urged Tanner to choose either his girlfriend Gwen Stefani, or John Legend. Gwen continues to play the “I have a No. 1 hit on the country charts” card. She’s also running with “I’m the next best thing to Blake as a coach, because I go home with him at night.”
Will Gwen’s ploy work? Kelly may be a pop singer, but as a Texas gal, she’s got country running in her blood. To find out who Tanner chooses, tune into NBC tonight (Oct 27) at 9 pm for The Voice Blind Auditions 3.
